As much as I wanted to have been someone who supports local and small businesses, there's a reason places like Wal-Mart and Amazon exist. They exist because they can meet supply and demand, faster than your little dinky business can and aren't throwing customers in a loop about the 100 policies you just thought up when you've taken a dump on the toilet.

When driving around my husband likes to point at masked pedestrians and say "look at this retard!" Like, why are they still masking, and outside! It's usually young people too, and never fit and attractive ones.

I too am waiting around for enough distance from this event to get some honest analysis. I find it fascinating. At the very beginning, because it was new and scary, I went along with whatever we were asked to do. But after a month I was pretty convinced the whole thing was stupid. After a year I went full "team lady who licked $10k of meat or ice cream at the grocery store" even though I am pretty sure that was fake. So many people who I thought were smart were completely brainwashed. Just what the hell happened to people?

Zaxbys. It used to be amazingly good chicken and fries. It used to be a near-peer to Chick-fil-a and now even Wendys does better chicken tenders. Their chicken ceasar salad was the bee's knees. They discontinued that in 2021. Now the chicken tenders are tiny, the breading sucks, and many have bits of gristle you can hardly even chew. They've almost entirely replaced the seasoning with an overwhelming amount of salt. I'd given up on it a couple years ago. I decided to give a different location a try for lunch today out of convenience and pitched half of it because it was even worse than I remembered.

As a now enlightened internet sperg I naturally thought "private equity must be behind this!" Off I searched to see which firm I should direct my hateful thoughts towards. It's somehow even worse than PE, Goldman-Sachs bought them out in 2020. The Jewish bankers literally conspired to turn one of my favorite chicken joints into yet another goyslop purveyor.

P.S. it's been maybe 20 minutes since I pitched it and my mouth still has that burning sensation from the truly overwhelming amount of salt. An almost perfect allegory for how salty this discovery has made me.

Ranch is frequently overused but there are some places where the ranch seasoning packets come in clutch. I make a mean buffalo shredded chicken in my instapot and it's a key ingredient alongside butter and Frank's. I think you might be missing a touch of distilled white vinegar. Other imitations seem to include it. I also found a label from 2014 with ingredients, it's pretty high up there:
