I’m not sure if this is particularly creepy but I thought it is really strange. I live in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and we have a thing called the CFL, which is like the NFL, but Canadian and not as well known but it’s still pretty popular, the most well attended game for the local team in my city for the regular season (The Calgary Stampeders) is 45,010 on October 29, 2000 in a game against the Montreal Alouettes, there’s just one problem, there is almost no evidence of it ever taking place, but it apparently happened according to

if you google “Montreal Alouettes @ Calgary Stampeders Date: October 29, 2000” you’ll see a lot of results on the score of the game, as well as the results and play-by-play.
This was near the end of the season. It had an attendance of 45,000 which is pretty impressive considering how McMahon stadium only has a maximum capacity of 35,000 which can be expanded it has been expanded up to 60,000 during the 1988 Winter Olympics.
this was a very big deal of a game if that was the case then here are some questions:
1. Where is the broadcast footage?
The CBC and CTV broadcast every game, including on the radio. This wasn’t a minor league. This was a major League and it was a very big deal back then. on top of that the Alouettes we’re in Quebec, which also meant there must’ve been a French broadcast, considering how the CBC has a perfect archive of everything according to their own people, where is it in their archives?
2. Where are The footage of the game even tourist photos
You think that with that many people there must’ve been a couple photos taken by either early digital or film cameras and you think if there was no broadcast footage then where are the people trying to find footage of it? they must’ve known by now, right?
3. Where exactly are the people who were there apparently?
and this is the creepiest thing I’ve been to a few Stampeders games, and I have talked to a few guys who have been season-ticket holders for a very long time. I told them what they knew about this game. They all said something along the lines of “I don’t remember it” or “it didn’t happen” or even “it might’ve happened and I might’ve been there but then again, if it happened it would’ve been broadcasted, but it didn’t”
This is very strange. I even showed him the photo, and they all shrugged it off like it was something they’ve never seen before. so what is the answer? What the hell happened?
oh yeah remember how I said this wasn’t creepy lol it’s going to get creepy. There are some theories that I have heard you know playground rumour type shit, this includes but is not limited to.
1. A bombing.
I’ve heard some people say that a explosion had occurred that apparently caused mass fatalities And the people who are running the event covered it up this might’ve been due to the fact that either an accident with the pyrotechnics or a F-18 crash because they were known for flying fruit, CFL games, especially back then.
2. An incident.
Sure, that sounds vague but I’m sure they’re referring to the fact that there might’ve been a shooting or much more plausibly, there might’ve been an incident where one of the players who apparently was working for the mob/biker gang or were connected to the mob/biker gang from Montreal, he apparently betted on the game A huge sum of money, because he was apparently almost broke, and when they lost, he just disappeared, so the organizers at the game decided to cover it up and The name of the player disappeared from Montreal.
Those are all of the theories that I have heard. I will be sure to check back with more information if necessary.
Needless to say, I find this to be very strange. There are a lot of strange things that happen in the city, like the homeless guy who was screaming at the top of his lungs that he was going to kill someone’s kids one night in the middle of a Forest behind my house or the fact that I keep hearing gunshots West of me (The last part is not true. It’s just fireworks first part is though)
So tell me guys, what do you think of this?
Thanks.
