Damn. B12 deficiency leads to low serum copper levels. If he wasn't taking any copper supplements and given the likelihood he was also taking more zinc than he needed then tingles/numbness would definitely happen. Found out about this zinc/copper stuff when I took a zinc carnosine supplement to help with stomach acid issues and started getting said tingles. Switched to mastic gum and both problems went away. Thought there was something sketchy when I saw that original gofundme vid.
Yep, I take Zinc-L-Carnosine as well. You absolutely have to balance out the zinc with copper. For the typical dose of ZLC you need to take 2 mg of chelated copper every day (for anyone that wants to use ZLC for gastric issues).
