ICE should work the way they did under Biden; targeting only known criminals, under the radar, so no one bitches about them or impedes their work.

Feel like it's too late for that. ICE has taken immense reputational damage with anyone that's not MAGA. This includes other federal agencies, and multiple US states. It is actually a popular opinion now in many (blue) states to not cooperate with ICE, and you can bet your ass that the politicians in those states will play to their base's demands, especially before midterms.

To be completely serious. This is the real problem with illegal immigration, and the h1b program (and the others similar programs). It's why every american on either side of the political isle should be anti illegal immigration, and mass immigration.

If a giant workforce of undocumented workers, that get paid off the books didn't exist, then a lot of companies would have no choice but to pay their workers a livable wage, legally. Or they wouldn't be able to stay in business. It's America's form of modern day slavery (outside of prison workers). The h1b thing is similar. Except they can control the workers through threat of deportation. They are able to get these people to work for less than Americans would because they get legal status in america as a benifit, and can send money back home to their country.

The reason illegal immigration is so bad isn't because brown people bad. I really wish people would stop acting like that's the problem. It's the opposite of a defense for enforcing immigration law, it makes everyone who supports deportation look bad. That's just handing the arguement to people that want to undermind deportation efforts. It's a lot easier for them to get support from gullible retards when the people supporting it themselves make it look like the only reason they want deportations is because they hate brown people. (And even if people do only want them for that reason, they should keep that shit to themselves because its a retarded non arguement).

Leftists SHOULD support border protection, and ICE. By supporting a flood of immigrants from 3 world countries. They are literally helping theses predatory corporations that take advantage of people. And at the same time fuck over the Americans that were already here. The only people that win from this are the businesses that take part in this. In the past leftists weren't in favor of supporting corportate greed, but now it seems like people just take the opposite stance as the right because the right wingers are heckin nazis.

I think Obama's Deportation in Chief strategy towards illegal immigration was actually the smart move. Deport a record amount of illegals, but never make a visible big deal out of doing it. I think part of Trump's mistake is making a big show sloppy deportations, rather than quick, quiet and professional actions. People like sausage, but they do not like watching it be made. Same way that a lot of people who are neutralish on immigration may like the sound of "less illegal immigration", but seeing random brown people(some of whom they know) in distress while masked men chase them down is distressing.

I don't get how Trump and his people thought it was a good idea to get cameramen tagging along with immigration people to grab up people. Bizarre seeing that they were spending a ton of camera equipment to show off this stuff that was horrifying people.

The biggest gripe in the jobs market is the lack of people with 5 years plus experience in specialized IT sectors, our governments had known this for decades and yet let Colleges and Universities admit far too many people in areas that are completely saturated like business, economics, history, english etc.
We need that experience NOW so the solution for them is you spend a lot of money and time training people and in the meantime import people that can fill the gaps (see the spoiler for more on this) but in theory you have people there that can do the job. Issue is none of these fuckers invest in anything that doesn't right away give a profit.
This is why drug rehab (shoutout bossman) and de-criminalization FAIL in places like the US, because nobody wants to invest the time and resources into long term rehabilitation and support services. This is why their plan will fail, they will import a lot of foreigners and fail to train the natives.
So the solution for today: Scale down the economy or import cultural aliens and worry about tomorrow.

Maybe some are, but when I was still a welder I was looking at spaceex welding jobs. They wanted to start out a lead welder with 10 years of experience at 30 an hour.
