I've seen the same sentiment for 13 years. For thirteen years we've had splinter sites and dumb faggots like you saying, as line goes up, that the site is increasingly irrelevant. Relevance is not my problem.
Let me put this into numbers: Our goal for the site is $12,000/mo. We get more than 12,000 user logins every single day. We get three times that number of people every single day if you include guests. Of that pool of 36,000 users and with that stated goal of $12,000/mo, I receive less than half of that in people willing to do billpay, the first time I've been able to receive funds reliably in 13 years (250/36000 or 0.7%). Before that I literally moved to Ukraine to reduce my own personal expenses so I could afford things like a $200/mo Cloudflare bill. The cost of everything has gone up by orders of magnitude since COVID and since DropKiwiFarms made me have to buy more of my own infrastructure.
Everyone sees this website as disposable. You can try to talk down to me to hurt my feelings but you're in the majority. My efforts, and the totality of everything I've ever done, are considered an interesting spectacle not worth personally intervening in for the overwhelming majority of everyone who has ever directly interacted with the Kiwi Farms. The people who actually keep the site up are a few huge, anonymous donors who occasionally chip in as much as $2,000/mo individually. They have no stated motivations, I don't know who they are, I don't know why they come or why they go. Outside of finances, there's three people who I lean on for technical help every so often, one in particular is a polish guy who only cares about BossmanJack and happens to have the entire Internet's topology mapped out in his head. He's right-wing but his interest in American politics is zero.
