Any time there is government fraud, just assume outright that the total funds are never, ever reaching the supposed target. The Somalis didn't get 10 billion (or 50 or whatever it actually is), the handlers, bureaucrats, "dealmakers", etc are taking their cut as it goes down the chain. I may have said this before, but I'm not sure if tim walz is even allowed to just start cooperating with ICE even if he wanted to (he doesnt).
the city council in minneapolis passed all sorts of sanctuary rules that forbid any cooperation with ICE
presumably walz could call in the state guard police instead so they could cooperate with the feds when MPD cant, but this seems highly unlikely.

and the biggest thing really is that MN will not share immigration status for things like prisoners and criminals, they wont put detainers on them things like that. so if illegals get arrested they more or less just let them go free.
