Our justice system is ultimately failing because people are so enamored within their own house to look at a case objectively. This system used to work when people could see things from an objective standpoint but nowadays it's honestly becoming harder and harder to find a jury that is impartial to a case. They'll find some subjective thing about the defense they like or hate and latch onto it for dear life no matter what happens.
A few weeks ago an illegal immigrant was let off scott free in Washington by both a judge and a jury because they wanted to be anti ice.
Any attorney who actually gives a shit about the process of the law will tell you the same thing that i am, it's becoming increasingly impossible to find an impartial jury.
