Yeah, I can see that. Though I'm pretty sure both sides are using Minneapolis. The left wants to point at ICE as the gestapo and the fascist to drum up support for voter turn out in the midterms. While the right is using it as distraction to try to get rid of illegals that are voting for dems else where since Minnesota is a lost cause as it is. I'm not sure theyre fishing for a cause to justify the insurrection act as that could easily backfire. Although, this kind of desperation from the democrats is giving me the sense that the left is not doing so great, that the blue tsunami is just a bluff. I also get the sense that Summer is going to be much worse than what we're seeing now.

I agree with all this, but I'd be curious on Minnesota shifting rightward in time once local anger over the feds stepping in fades, the Twin Cities propping up leftism in Minnesota lose some nice voter blocs in illegals and thus power, and right-wingers starting to realize they don't have to just sit there and let things go back to "normal" there. No doubt it'll take a while, but I'd wonder nonetheless.

I'm in a weird spot I fully agree on Democrats being desperate and the left not doing so hot, yet still cautious on midterms themselves.

I'm convinced that Minneapolis is being used as a distraction. Keep the retards' attention focused on Minnesota, while ICE agents in other parts of the country continue to carry out deportations without scrutiny. Feels like the ICE operations in Minneapolis are more about demoralizing the left and fishing for a dead Fed to justify the Insurrection Act than necessarily about deporting bulbheads. And I know it sounds a little callous to say, but I'm pretty sure a handful of dead ICE agents is a sacrifice Trump is willing to make in order to have rock-solid justification for a crackdown.

It's a soft civil war. The bulbs have been killing and intimidating people who try to investigate or stop their fraud. Pussies like Tim Walz are of course going along with it out of fear and shitlibbery. The DNC has been using the same fraud to launder money so between the 2 groups they are trying to bring their full antifa army to bear to scare Trump and his goons away.

It makes total sense for Trump to double down. The best part will be when the smoke clears and antifa realizes its been used to run cover for corrupt liberal governments crimes.

I don't think they care about that. An LEO getting arrested by other LEOs just reaffirms the idea that the law works which they fundamentally reject. What really demoralizes them is not seeing people riot and burn shit down because they demanded it.
