I have never posted on the farms, but have been here for a while. I live in minneapolis. I really don't like Frey/Walz and I feel at odds with most of my neighbors' political beliefs.

But I'm poor, and I have family here, and little means of moving out. The events here are negatively impacting everyone, not just the neolibs and commies. We are all feeling the economic and cultural pressures with the weight of the world's eyes on minnesota. I don't want to be in this situation. Why are you and other people in this thread perpetuating such loathing, indiscriminate hate in the name of Christ? What denomination are you?

I really don't wish any ill will on anyone posting here, I just hope you all understand that people are suffering, and not just your enemy.

My denomination is "atheist" and my hate and loathing isn't indiscriminate. The commie trash controlling your town hate whatever shade of Christian you are and are storming into churches during worship to thuggishly intimidate their genetic and spiritual superiors.

There's almost certainly no bodycams. The funding isn't there to equip the ICE agents, although some have been pushing it and some have them.

The last time bodycams were pushed in the US it was by the left and it turned into a complete disaster for them. They don't appear to be super eager to make the same mistake again and I'm not sure how likely the right is to press for that much funding for ICE.

Bootlickers really out in force today. They have reflexively decided that any killing of an American is ok because a government official on twitter told them it was.

Notice how people pop in and say this literally every time something happens? "You only think I'm wrong because (huff) cheeto hitler told you to disagree with me!" It's such an empty insult when it comes from empty people who are almost certainly projecting because they check twitter to see what opinion they're going to oppose each morning to update their programming.

So are you against the idea of having borders or just enforcing them? I don't like the CIA because I don't like the idea or enforcement of mass surveillance being used against citizens. I don't like the ATF because most gun laws targeting Americans are retarded and they execute insane harebrained schemes like the infamous gunwalking incident. I like ICE because borders are a necessary part of actually maintaining a functioning country.

I don't get why everyone  has to believe that a shooting is either justified or unjustified just to align with their world views.

Since the dawn of society, there have always been law enforcement officials that commit crimes, have killed someone unjustifiably, are too hot headed for the job, etc. This is nothing new, and doesn't apply just to local law enforcement.

Even if there is an unjustified shooting, that also doesn't mean that our society should just immediately stop enforcing its laws.

I'm on the fence for this one until we get better video that isn't from a potato or AI upscaled. If better evidence comes out I'd bet a significant amount of the right would admit it wasn't self defense. If you've been around long enough you've certainly seen law enforcement execute people in a way that would make anyone want to fedpost regardless of political orientation, but we've seen a million times over that the left will choose the worst martyrs and never back down an inch.

It doesn't help that they tipped their hand with all the politically motivated prosecutions towards self defense, like NY sending an old bodega owner to Rikers for killing someone who explicitly went to his store to assault him over a perceived offense. In most countries you don't even have a legal right to self defense anymore like in the UK or Canada. The government using law as a weapon specifically to target people who dare to engage in self defense and the hundreds of stabby matyrs has made people rather skeptical. Especially with how nearly all countries have abolished the right to self defense in practice. It's ironic that it's an agent of the state committing self defense now, but hey, it's close enough.

The video is definitely worse than Renee Good because there are so many people walking in front of the situation and the cameraman is so far that you can't tell what's going on. But it definitely looks like they were just going to arrest him and then in a split second the agents freaked out and shot him. It's hard to tell what exactly happened but I have to assume the goal wasn't to kill him with no provocation.

if their goal at all times from the start of their encounter with him was to kill him, why bother with wrestling him to the ground? why bother attempting to detain him? this is what fucks me up the biggest about these people shitting their diapers about the ice gestapo executing americans in the street.

it's never someone who was literally doing nothing. it's always someone who was actively fucking with them, trying to stop them from arresting illegals and deporting them. noem even mentioned the guy that they were in the process of arresting had deadly weapons charges I believe.
