Another possibility on tariffs at least is that they'll decline to issue a ruling themselves but simply reaffirm a lower federal court's ruling upholding Trump's authority.

It's been almost a full day since the DOJ said they would charge Don Lemon under the KKK Act, and so far literally nothing is happening. Just in case it wasn't already obvious that the Trump admin is not serious about protecting Christians.

If you think this is radicalizing the normies against the left, you're fucking delusional. The Summer of Love didn't radicalize the normies against Burn Loot Murder, everyone in the world literally fucking sided with the nogs burning down civilization over St. Floyd. can't really do a referendum 10 years later, after invasion has already happened, after occupation/war has pushed a substantial amount of the population into exile, and after scores of russian forces have flooded the territory.
for it to have any appearance of legitimacy, a referendum would have to happen before changes take place, and it would have to be carried out by a neutral power that is considered trustworthy by the major world powers but also has absolutely no ties to either side of the issue.
now, where the hell would one find a power that is

>has no ties to any ukraine-aligned country (this rules out ukraine, america, all of europe, japan, south korea, etc)
>has no ties to any russia-aligned country (this rules out russia, belarus, china, iran, north korea, etc)

I've been thinking, instead of making Alberta a 51st state, what if we just traded it with Canada for Minnesota? The only problem then would be the borders would look ugly, and I think the best way to deal with that would be to just physically have the entire populations of both regions swap places, then change the names on the maps
