I want you all to picture a universe in which Trump somehow gets Greenland and then the left, the second they steal power again, immediately gives it back.
Becuase there are three things I expect them to do once they steal national power again: 1. Consolidate their rigging such that they can never lose power again. 2. Punish ANYONE to the right of Mao for daring to derail project 2030. 3. Ensure the end of history and the final map is enshrined.
The latter means Trump getting Greenland or Russia getting the Ukraine is inherently unacceptable to them and will be undone afterwards no matter how many other people have to die.

They have manipulated the system to influence the overton window. Yuri Bezmenov explains it best.

There are certain things that are "anchor points" -- they will always be outside of the overton window, barring some sort of cultural shift that we would define calendars by. But what if you tie other views to those anchors? If you pretend there's no difference between White Nationalism and White Supremacy and Genociding Non Whites then anyone who steps just a little bit into the White Nationalism range -- "England should be for the Ethnically English" -- is suddenly no better than someone calling for the death of Non-Whites.
This does some amusing things to the Overton window. By tying the center-right to the ultra-far right, it drags the center-right outside of the Overton Window. The window then shifts towards the left, becuase the rightmost side of the window slides to the left. Thus it becomes "normal" to be slightly or moderately leftist, and batshit lefty ideas like Communism become things you are laughed at instead of purged from society over.
This works as long as they have control over things to make damned sure the center-right is always considered "nazis" and "fascists." They're always tied to the anchor, they're always outside of the frame. But if they lose their grip on the levers of power -- the government, the media, social media, academia, pop culture, etc -- then not only do those things start sliding back into frame -- which drags the window back to a more natural position, and pushes the average back to the moderates instead of "reality has a well known left leaning bias," it also pushes the batshit Antifa types outside of the frame AND risks stuff that was also tied to the anchor being pulled into the frame. Suddenly it's not only "maybe England should be for the English" but also "Maybe English culture IS better than saintly browns making huts out of literal mud and shit?"
We call this "the pendulum swinging back" but it's more that every so often the retards on the left lose control over the overton window, their manipulation and engineering fails, and culture slides back to the center. It might overshoot at that time, it might not. But they pretty much immediately begin working to pull it back to the left -- to make it a crime against Darwin to have righty opinions, to make the average that people (especially white women) feel like is the default groupthink be center or even hard left, et cetera.
That's why they lose their shit when even pop culture and niche hobbies aren't leftist. Warhammer 40k isn't going to change culture, but it gives an out, an escape, from the constant leftist dogma, and if you escape the artificial frame you might come back realizing things are intentionally shifted to the left.
