Nothing ever gets deleted on modern communications platforms or cloud computing infrastructure. Ever. Especially not something like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. "Deleting" something just sets a flag internally that hides it rather than actually removing it.

Even if these dumb shits immediately clicked [delete] after realizing "oh shit we shouldn't have posted that," it was already permanently archived and forever retrievable by the company (and the feds) the moment the upload finished.

This should be massive, like every city in the west burning. All the factors are there
-Trump having several wins (in 2020 the economy was crushing and he made an israel/palestine deal)
-Several failed attempts at taking trump down leading to a desperate left
-A situation that isn't clear cut but can easily be framed as such, this leads to people defenind the cop (chauvin last time) so the left can claim "SEE THEY'RE DEFENDING THE MOST EVIL PERSON EVAR!" etc.

I hope i don't jinx it but this is a sad display, i don't buy the cold excuse because at least half of american cities aren't freezing right now.

The college town i live in (which tbf has been conspicuously quiet all year) isn't making a peep. There's this one intersection where people used to always stand and chant about whatever gay thing is trending, this time I saw a grand total of two grandmas waving shitty signs around, nobody honking, nobody stopping.

It's not really picking up any traction online either despite everybody pushing the same narrative. When you filter out all the obviously astroturfed channels like jimmy kimmel (which the biggest has 4 million views) the biggest youtube video about the incident has 1.9m views and even that's new york post. Biggest george floyd video had 50 million after a few days.

There was apparently a new shooting so i guess we'll see.
