Mercado Media is leaving the protest, saying that the people there are "unsafe" and "attacking journalists" and he's "not about that."

Reminder: Mercado basically incited a mob against Nick Sotor and Cam Higby the other day.

the left also want to kill or put any Republicans in reeducation camps. .... Or originally just wanted to put them in camps. Now I think they just want to kill all republicans.
 
Some activist is showing ICE documents with FBI details from a federal agents car.

I'm not making that up, the person just explained it on stream, the woman pointing. Holy shit. They said someone broke into the car and stole documents, possibly a laptop? She said ICE fled vehicles and . She appears to be holding a microphone for "COUP" media. First hit on that is some UK firm.

lolwyers, any idea if this is illegal as all hell? Like one would imagine it would be?

The Karlyn Borysenko and James Lindsay threads are underappreciated. Love these two absolute psychos. While they both are total lolcows and are given to hilarious flights of fancy as wells as beefs with their peers in the culture war griftersphere, they both do really offer some of the best commentary on The Left.

About the only one of those I can get behind is banning of stock trading while in Congress. The Pelosi-tracking ETF should not be a thing.

Capping salaries to something tied to their district sounds like a good thing at first, but if you look closer at it, it would just amplify the rich getting richer and the poor falling behind. Someone from a district is still more likely to be from or backed by the richest people in that district. Whom do you think is more likely to be representing or funding the campaign for someone from New York's First Congressional District? Someone from the Hamptons? Or someone from Majestic-Shirley? Further, why should some rich asshole from Southampton be paid more to sit in Congress than someone from the South Bronx? That's not a very equitable policy, now is it?

I missed the break in, but I see people going through the contents of the car, including loaded magazines and various documents. Some "press" are going through various folders and taking pictures of the pages. I expect leaks in the mainstream news media in the near future. "CNN has acquired documents that a confidential source claims are genine ICE documents. These documents appear to show that ICE blah blah blah, etc."
