An Ohio councilman who recently became a U.S. citizen opposes saying the Pledge of Allegiance at meetings, claiming it was shaped by "anti-immigrant sentiment."

Athens City Councilman Paul Isherwood, who gained his citizenship only a few years ago, called the history of the pledge "strange" at a council meeting Monday, citing its reference to religion.

Councilman Michael Wood also opposed reciting the pledge at meetings in part because of the "current administration," calling it "performative" and citing conflict with his Quaker faith.

Denaturalize and deport.
For the Quaker, your announcement about not doing it is also "Performative"

I would like to make you guys aware of a thing that is pretty popular on the other side that I noticed I find funny. I guess every time POTUS closes his eyes for an extended time they like to announce he has fallen asleep during a meeting and that he is deteriorating before our eyes? I think it just helps him listen but whatever.
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Donald Trump has fallen asleep again at a public meeting. Wow.

My grandpa does the same thing. Doesn't mean falling asleep, just that they're thinking. Also:

Jesus Christ some redditors need serious help.

I agree with this.

I'd still give it to America in this case, though - that's still a water-born/amphibious invasion in the end with all the MASSIVE complications it involves, and even Mexico has the Chihuahuan and Nueces Strip/Wild Horse Deserts THEN the Pecos/Nueces Rivers themselves as the buffers between their and our population centers, and both these kinds of invasions are hitting the parts of America more rural and filled with hicks ready to try to go guerilla on any enemy. Those invasions, even if they somehow happened, would not be worth the massive costs involved.

Mind, you're also utterly right, and I'm just being a nitpicky nerd, because America would have failed hardcore to let it get to that point in the first case. Which I know is your point you're making here.
water invasions are not anywhere near as easy or stealthy as they once were, and especially in the age of social media even if you catch the US government unaware they will know what's happening the second anything showing any sign of an invasion occurred. and while they're floating their boats in, they would be getting hammered by missiles that we've spent time building so that our own missile trackers can't beat them. they run the risk of simply being met with overwhelming force at landing sites with unrelenting bombardments and quick-deploy beach defenses. it would be an unrestrained military disaster for any country on earth to attempt to launch an invasion of the united states in 2026. the tech had already gotten to the point of making it nearly impossible when the soviets did it, which was why they wanted so much a place to put men and materiel like cuba.

thinking more about naked little girls, redditor? the redditor doth protest too much, methinks.

Don’t they realize the vehicle could still be moving even if tires are shot, and then still result in getting squashed by the car? I’ve seen tire blowouts while driving, and cars are still very capable of moving with blown out tires.
My favorite retarded take of theirs is that, "I wouldn't listen to masked, armed men trying to yank me out of my car, either." Ignoring the fact that she obviously knew who they were, these weasels are describing the exact conditions where one would deliberately try and run over someone with their car.

0% chance we ever get invaded like that. We would know about someone planning something big like that way before they ever even tried. Beyond monitoring the globe via satellite and with moles everywhere, we have microphones in the ocean to monitor traffic there, too. Our government knew the Titan submersible was toast immediately because they heard the implosion.

Nobody would ever try and invade us like that. That's why their strategy has been to dismantle us from the inside; they're winning, too.
I like how they are all repeating the line about Mar-a-lago documents as a gotcha, despite the fact that case collapsed after the prosecution failed to prove any wrongdoing by Trump AND the fact that Biden was caught doing much worse and didn't have a single charge lobbied his way because they privately said he wasn't mentally fit for trial (but at the same time mentally fit to be POTUS and don't you dare imply otherwise chud)
Back before I realized the left lied to me about literally everything, I believed many things about Trump that I'm now unsure were ever true. Anybody knowledgeable ITT want to LMK if any of these have definitive answers?
  1. I seemed to think it was pretty clear that Trump had likely sold nuclear secrets to some Arab nation (can't remember now, maybe Saudis) for a lot of money. And that he was storing TS files in Mar-A-Lago in an unsecured closet or bathroom or something.
  2. I thought Trump had Tweeted a picture of some military installation of an enemy that revealed classified/TS materials; capabilities of our camera system that was previously unknown.
  3. The Republicans effectively dismantled the USPS machines to steal the election; some Trump-appointed postmaster at the helm (black guy, I think) was facilitating the destruction of big sorting machines. I assume it was related to mail-in ballots.
    1. Did Trump/GOP ever talk about dismantling/privatizing the USPS because it "loses money?" I thought it was a constitutionally guaranteed service (which doesn't lose money, but costs money), but remember some shit about an unheard of demand to pre-fund like 75 years of retirees benefits or somethig.
  4. Was there ever actually any evidence the election was stolen? I know they had a bunch of court cases and remember them all being embarrassing Ls, such as that drunk lady.
I'd appreciate any clarification. Cheers.

Ok we need to add india to the list of countries we need to kick off the internet aswell as cant immigrate here

We live in a TERRIFYING world

Lol, Simon's Quest is the worst of the original three NES Castlevanias. Super Castlevania IV is one of the greatest alongside SOTN.
It was a shitpost. SotN came out before the Dreamcast numbskull, that should have been the giveaway

Edit: nevermind I didn’t realize who said it, ignore my post. That guy is a retard

Also, the people who think Simon’s Quest was innovative just never played Wonderboy 3, which was is far closer to SotN than Simon’s Quest ever was, and is partly why I feel the “vania” has no business being in the genre. It should be called Platform RPG not Metroidvania

We must chimp out until India is added.
Vanishing all jeets too quickly will lead to bigger problems. Too many companies are too reliant on them. We would, unfortunately, cripple ourselves if their removal is done too quickly. Slow, deliberate de-incentivisation is the proper prescription for the Jeet Menace.
