Explains why Taiwan,Singapore and Overseas Chinese aeras in Maylasia and Thailand are 1st world. The CCP is an example of retarded government fucking over an ethnicity that's capable here. I would say the CCP only saving grace is they haven't imported thirdies but they did sign a deal with India, so that's just delayed.

not an uncommon situation when communism is involved
eastern europe (including european russia) had the same problem of commie governments ruining the otherwise high potential of the population
and of course the most extreme example of this is currently north korea, where a population that is capable of first world tier development and success is instead toiling away in abject poverty and misery under a communist hereditary dictatorship (arguably the most grotesque political system ever)

Well, they repeated the empire of dust meme like over 150 times with the belt and road initiative, and at some point they should have questioned whether the rest of the world would stand by and allow them to occupy shitholes that defaulted on their predatory loans for sub poor construction projects

A couple crazy Russians I know, kind of representative of "the right" there, think that those labs were placed there for convenience in trying to engineer Slav-specific "germ warfare," as we used to call it (and they still do).

In theory it's possible, and their location may be otherwise inexplicable. But Ukraine is so corrupt it's hard to tell why anything happens there. And remember it was the Russians who, as anti-American propaganda, invented the idea that AIDS was engineered to kill black people. So they have an odd relationship with the concept—especially if they're old commies like Putin.

My favorite "conspiracy theory" is that the West was going to pretend that Putin invaded Ukraine—the first fully fake war that only existed in the media—so he did it. They were unprepared, and so was he.
