You cannot convince me it is not a criminal conspiracy to completely fuck up crime statistics and different scams are used for other crimes/races.
I am very curious about the widely-accepted, reliable-source-verified "fact" that illegal immigrants (or even legal immigrants) commit fewer crimes than citizens, and how that data gets cooked. The standard rejoinder is that "every illegal alien is guilty of at least one crime, duh

," and yes, it always bears repeating that immigration laws are real laws, and if you impede the enforcement of them, you just might get shot in the face by a real federal agent. But that's not a satisfactory response: it basically cedes the argument, implying that illegals really are enriching their hosts, and there's no reason to deport them other than draconian legalism.
The common official explanation is that undocumented bodies of color are already self-selected to be more ambitious and industrious than average, seeing as they are seeking a better life in a foreign land, and that they are especially careful because they fear being deported for even minor infractions. Actually, they're mostly stupid parasites who lack the foresight and impulse control to worry about the consequences of their actions, of which there are usually none anyway. Source: I'm very racist. Yet somehow, they're coming up with stats to support this.
One trick (I seem to recall reading somewhere...) is to control by economic status, so you're comparing Mexicans who officially have zero income to homeless people, not the national average. It also seems that crime-by-immigration status is not a nationally-tracked statistic, we are perhaps relying on e.g. the state of Minnesota to report which ethnicities are committing the most fraud, or whatever, then handing that data over to activist think tanks to be sourced by news articles. But I'm sure there must be lots of little tricks and fudging.
