people still to this day do not grasp that the "percentage" is just the inflation increase, which is irrelevant in a vacuum, what matters is, how did wages increase?
the Covid times had a massive spike, and sure the increase slowed after.. but it has not DEFLATED at all, a smaller year to year percentage increase means nothing once its increased to levels that aren't livable, and wages did not go up across the board.
you can hammer boomers and people who are fine off with this over and over, and point out all the reasons things suck dick now, how my pay has gone up this very slight amount and the cost of everything in my life went up by 45% in 6 years, and they will just tell you some retarded shit like "get a better job", in the same field? and it pays 45% more (just to make parity with 6 years ago)?
how is that realistic? I cut Meat for a living, once a trade, then a very well paid job, and now its shit, where to go? no answer, because its just fucking SLOGANS with Boomers and X'ers, all they speak in is fucking SLOGANS.
