War Trump says Venezuela's Maduro captured after strikes - The U.S. has accused Maduro of running a "narco-state" and rigging an election.

WASHINGTON, Jan 3 (Reuters) - The U.S. has struck Venezuela and captured its President Nicolas Maduro, who has been taken out of the country, President Donald Trump said on Saturday.

The U.S. has not made such a direct intervention in Latin America since the invasion of Panama in 1989 to depose military leader Manuel Noriega.

"The United States of America has successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the country," Trump said in a Truth Social post.

There was no immediate confirmation from the Venezuelan government.

The U.S. has accused Maduro of running a "narco-state" and rigging an election. The Venezuelan leader, who succeeded Hugo Chavez to take power in 2013, has said Washington wants to take control of its oil reserves, the largest in the world.

Watchings Euros and western fags seethe just because Trump was the one who did is annoying.

These faggots have no ideological core, ten years ago these exact NPCs were the same ones bitching about the World doing anything about Venezuela. That orange fag does the bare minimum and they revolt. 😂

The fact she's not being arrested as she is not the legal VP (as Maduro was not the legal president) puts any theory of invading and killing to die.
How can we still claim that election was illegitimate when Trump just said on live TV that the people don't have confidence in the woman we claim really won and she can't be President now? Venezuela is a US colony now, we can stop pretending.

Love to see all the commies whining about their fallen comrade.

I just want an outcome that will make all the brown people leave my country and go back to their own. Please Trump-sama, get Lula and that Jewish bitch from Mexico too.

It could be interesting to know who Delcy Rodriguez will name as her VP.
She's gonna be there temporarily. The plan is that the actual president takes power later.

I think she's just gonna be there to make the Maduro loyalists cooperate and perhaps offer some amnesty for the ones bending the knee.

She just went on TV and started to trash talk US, subtlety, and called for their armies to resist. She knows she's gonna be fine, otherwise she wouldn't dare. The comments here is how she did that after Rubio said she talked with him and accepted his conditions.

Maybe she's just a moron and thinks she's gonna be able to actually resist this or she's already ready to escape.

If this had been Bush they would have landed 50,000 troops, then deployed them there for 15 years to "nation build".
Had this been Obama they would bomb every hospital and school into rubble then let the jihadists take power.
A 3 hour spec ops mission to kidnap a belligerent head of state to punish him is based
This, this right fucking here.

The big difference between Trump and the neoconservatives is that when he has taken military action, its been quick shock operations that are in an out in a very small window of time. No bullshitting around trying to do nation building bullshit.

These small scale special operations will hopefully be the future doctrine from now on when it comes to waging warfare, we have seen how effective they have been in terms of time, cost, and lives. It doesn't matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, today's operation was an overwhelming success in terms of how clean and quick it was in accomplishing its goal.

While it would be nice if we didn't have to take military action, the world is in bad shape right now, and has been the last 2 decades. Even Biden and Obama have had their hand forced to take action when they were in power. If we are to take action, its time we stop taking bullshit half measures and committing to decades long wars, and instead start hitting quickly, precisely, and hard.

well there is still mexico.
Sheinbaum needs to go too!
Mexico has gained a lot of cartel power because they are the closest to the US. If the drug flow stops comming up from SA then they lose that power naturally.

Granted this is a hard job to accomplish and wont be finished by Trump. We need to stabalize SA AND make life better for people at home so they stop taking so many drugs. I think it can be done but it will take a lot of surgical moves that frankly the US government is not setup to make. The second we get another dem president or a weak republican, the same bullshit for the last 60 years will continue.

Edit: this is desperately needed btw. The cartels have FULLY compromised local and state LE in CA, NM, and AZ. If we don't do something now our entire nation will fall to cartel violence.

Vassal state or tributary would be more correct.

Maduro's VP was already sworn in and will likely play ball. That other woman is about to be memory-holed (just like the last guy before her)
She's sworn because she's still in the country and they still hold official buildings. She also did it because she agreed to Rubio's demands. She then went loose. She has no power, the commies in charge will likely turn around and cooperate or leave. Their military are smart enough to know they won't provoke Trump.

Well, I think America should take in all the soon-to-be homeless Venezualans as refugees, it's only fair!
El Salvador can have them. There are plenty of south American countries they can migrate too. Nobody told Europe they had to take in refugees from these other wars. Your leaders wanted them and you kept voting said leaders in.
