Why the mormon hate?
I can't believe the guy's openly Mormon... that's just crazy
Are mormons that crazy? All the mormons i have met were a bit weird, but i would never call them malicious.....in fact they were quite pleasant

They’re great people, but their religion (it’s so far away from Chalcedonian Christianity I struggle to group them together) is obviously false and demonic. Like, I’m sure Welper and his family are nice and all, but their beliefs are silly.
You could say you came out of the closet.

Isn’t that the name of the angel they think came down to Joseph Smith? Just like what happened with Muhammad?

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
you're thinking of moroni. mormons also believe that joseph smith will judge people alongside jesus christ and god. mormonism is openly a non-christian sect. they're closer than a lot of other groups, but they are not christians. american excellence as a religion. of course there would have to be an american involved in judging the souls of the dead, but it is also very much not a christian thing.

it could be worse. he could be openly atheist.

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
jesus was also pretty clear on this whole 'everybody that says they follow me isn't going to be an actual christian.'
Matthew 7:15-23 powiedział(a):
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

All I know is Mormons can't even drink coffee and that makes them weak.

The Founding Fathers didn't get everything right.

:tomgirl:
i said it earlier. the founding fathers should have made it explicitly clear that the freedom of religion they were talking about was protestant christianity. they would have been horrified at the idea that a mortal man considered himself to be on the same level as God and Jesus, outright ignoring that we were told that Jesus was the final prophet.
Hebrews 1:1-2 powiedział(a):
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
the prophets were of the past. jesus completed the revelation to man. he fulfilled the covenant.

I almost converted to Mormonism when I was having a spiritual crisis of faith. About a week or two before I was to be baptized in the Aaronic priesthood, I realized that there was a large chance that I was doing it out of lust for a Mormon widow that I had developed feelings for.
I literally had to nope out of a religion because I wasn't sure if I was doing it out of true faith or subconscious lust. I know for a fact that no matter what religion God is, he would have never forgiven me for that shit.
That being said I have spent a lot of time with Mormons and have read the entire book of Mormon several times. They are great people and the book is actually a good read, my favorite chapter being the book of Alma.
Mormon people catch a lot of shit but they really are good people and they don't just talk the talk when it comes to being family-oriented, they walk the walk. I've also never seen a group of people go out of their way to take care of each other as much as they do.

She's fat. Gross
She's fat? Nigger she's a Mormon over the age of 25, she's not fat she's on her 8th kid.
It’s really funny how Satan picked out that name in particular. Imagine a new cult appears and their spokesman says “yeah we got a new revelation from the angel Retardio”
I always found it amusing that the angel that gave Joseph Smith The book of Mormon was named "Moron I"
