I don't think the things the Rekieta kids could bring up are the kinds of things that move the needle on college admissions.

In terms of proof, they have one drug bust on their father but they come from what appears to be at least a middle class, if not upper middle class background.

If this is true and they are serious about it, I have bad news: from the very first milisecond they go live there will be intense alogging that is never really going to stop. So Nick definitely ruined this dream for them, unless they have the mental fortitude for being reminded what a couple of colossal degenerate druggie whores both their parents are constantly.
