No, I don't think that's right. The primary purpose of using a pipe in a pipe bomb is not fragmentation, otherwise it wouldn't be necessary to use a sealed pipe.
The sealed steel pipe allows even a low explosive to develop a high pressure before bursting, which gives it a sharper and stronger pressure wave than it would otherwise.
A PVC pipe will burst at much lower pressures, largely negating the purpose of using a pipe in the first place.

Someone blamed Jews for it. I said it's the Catholic Church and provided the chart that shows this. You got upset and start accusing me of trying to cover up the role of Jews in this to blame Christians then start bringing up per capita. This is stupid for multiple reasons.

1. The chart openly labels Jewish organizations like HIAS with their percentage of the damage. If I was trying to obscure, I wouldn't use that chart which directly shows this.
2. I didn't say mostly Christians, I said it's the Catholic Church. This is based off years of the Church openly endorsing illegal immigration with the Pope making plenty of statements in favor of this.
3. The per capita argument is stupid because it oversimplifies things. People love to cope by pointing out Jewish lawyers in these Catholic organizations but ignore the point that these Jews are paid by the Church and follow their directions.

I just CANNOT understand is HOW, OH GOD HOW do they not have a standard, universal, mandatory ID. Why the fuck are they relying on passports and drivers' licenses and other random shit?

I guess it's a consequence of how their government is formed. From a political structure standpoint, the US has more in common with the EU than most countries.

I'm simplifying things wildly here, but: most countries are a single indivisible entity, ruled by a central government that makes internal/administrative divisions (regions, states/provinces/shires or whatever the local name happens to be, cities, etc.) based on history, politics and culture. The US, on the other hand, is a federation of 50 states, somewhat loosely bound to each other by some common interests (defense, logistics, economy/currency to name a few), and is built from the bottom to the top instead of top to bottom. This can be easily seen in their legal systems: the same behavior (i.e. smoking weed) can be a serious crime in a town, and completely unremarkable in the neighboring city just because they're in different states. Or how people have to research state laws when moving because, while in your home town the Sheriff enviously helped you load grandpa's antique rifle collection into the U-Haul, the mere sight of it two states over will have a SWAT team blasting your door down.

I lack the knowledge of 'Murrican Law to give a truly informed opinion, but I suspect that, in order to have something like a National ID, most, if not all states would have to agree on its necessity, implementation, model, and slog their way through a litany of minutiae, statutes, laws, jurisprudence, and who knows what else (that are not in any way guaranteed to be compatible). There will also be a lot of people who are (rightfully) suspicious of such ideas and don't want the feds to have even an extra mote of power beyond the necessary. Considering blue states openly fight the idea of voter ID, and are one bad day away from proposing elections via an open SurveyMonkey poll, I don't think that's happening any time soon.
