Oooh
Wow. Damn Laura. Your crazy just really took off running eh? Holy shit...

I wonder what the rest of the charges were for... she looks awful in the photo... although... no moonface, so maybe no more wasn't it Addison's crises... that needed steroids... plus all the flushing, mood swings, sweaty symptoms of both menopause and steroid use.. didn't she have hormonal issues too?

The ENT ER yeller is nuts! You'd think if the scope really was that urgent, they'd be bumped up, or, since they *can* do this, send the referral out to as many places as you can. I'm sure there's a limit, yeah?

I feel for those nurses, and anyone in earshot... especially if you've got the same nurse and you actually need something, but no one can hear you bc of Ranty Mc Rantface over there using their right to "free speech"

Love how nonchalant they are about their massive hemmeroids, and that they'd been arrested 2x for that kind of behaviour. Like their belligerance won them a prize../sneed

In Canada, so our referrals pretty much either get sent to the main hospital that had a cluster of GI specialists, and you'll retry much be randomly assigned to whomever had the next availability, unless you needed a specific specialist bc they have more experience in the thing you need.

You can ask to have the testing request sent to the other area Hospitals that have GI or have a traveling GI Clinic in specific areas ie within a 90 minute drive if you're willing and need to just get the test done...

if request came from the family Dr if you don't already have that specialist, and is a fairly basic concern they'll try the clinics in the surrounding counties first, then the large teaching hospital an hour or so away. You'll generally get in for testing at the smaller community Hospitals that are large enough to have the equipment before the big teaching hospital unless it's expedited.

I know others who had a 8 month wait on an urgent lung referral, bc they needed a particular Dr, instead of being tossed in the Respirology pot and just getting whomever. This was considered urgent with 2 er visits and an admission before they got the referral, and two more ER visits and another admit, all breathing related in the 8 month wait. Brutal wait but it ended well.

But, that's life with universal health care. It's hard to have choice in your care, wait times can be nuts, but there is no cost at time of use.

wait times can be nuts,
I waited I think 3 months for an ENT in the states, after a routine referral, but I asked nicely. I think she's after the same scope I got and it's a lot. A picture's worth a thousand words?

They did use a numbing spray first, but that just made it not actually painful, I still felt the thing rooting around my brain nose. I hope she gets exactly what she's asking for, though maybe with a little less spray.

What I can legally say is she traveled across the country armed to my residence and the police were able to intercept her. It's been about 3 months. She may be seeing serious jail time. Apparently she's been stalking / harrassing countless men and women (including myself) for years now. She truly put me through hell.

Bloomin Nora!! So sorry to hear that. I'm actually glad the site pitched enough of a fit to double post, because I didn't know whether to slap an "informative" or "horrifying" sticker on that bad-boy!

I'm sad to say I'm not surprised. She clearly had no clue, ability nor inclination towards emotional self control or self soothing of any kind and kept getting fired for frothing at the mouth and screaming over wanting her medically sanctioned uppers. Guess she can't let anything go and goes full psycho on any slight, or being told "no".

Got to say, that mug shot looks remarkably like so many pretty girls I've known who coasted by on looks without learning any other social/life skills and whose house of cards/drugs/kid-gloves came crashing down hard in the space of 2-5 years. I don't know what it is, other than a weird vibe of trying to remain frozen in time, looks wise, whilst living a "burn it all down" lifestyle. Hard to articulate.

Hope you're safe

@pineapples_are_evil2 per Laura: There are three counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of felony stalking, and one count of carrying a weapon with intent to use it.

Desperate to find out the controlled substances (for sure meth but it isn't meth three times lol). And desperate for @KillerTofu to see some justice, I just realized she popped up in like JULY to mention Laura and the stalking. Fuck me running.

She said colonoscopy. In Australia that generally refers to a scope of the colon that goes in via the butthole. The scope of the upper GI is usually called an endoscopy, but colonoscopy is also a correct term. The camera tube goes in via the mouth, usually under conscious sedation. It’s a simple day procedure that even an intern can perform, and in larger teaching hospitals usually an intern and resident will do them.

You're right and all, but what ER doesn't have an endoscope? I got the impression that the sturdy foot long nose probe was more specialized and thus I just had to wait until an actual ENT was available. Deviated septum, so interesting.

Drug seekers, on the other hand, are a whole 'nother story. Rude, demanding, self-centered, and even violent behavior is the rule rather than the exception. They want "that drug that starts with a D" or their percosnacks, and they want them NOW

Do you think any of the obnoxious folks that come in asking for a specific pain med by name is actually convinced that they need that drug for legitimate pain? Put another way, do you get the sense that any of them believe they are actually in pain and need treatment and are not addicts or are they saunter in with the conscious goal of getting straight bc of an addiction?

I have never worked in healthcare but sounds like you do so curious your take. I know theres the third option of being in pain from withdrawals, which I would classify as the latter above.

People with chronic conditions learn what works, but it's either not a "fun" drug, or they, well, get a doctor's note. That's actually probably how a lot of these girls do it: get one of their concierge doctors to write a letter explaining their "condition" and the reason they need this specific drug, present to the ED without being a nightmare, hand over the note and grimace, doctors don't tend to question each other if everything looks right so fake it until you make it?

endoscope: tube (usually with a camera these days) to look inside the body

endoscope is used to cover a wide variety of intruments, the prefix tells you what part of the body is being looked at (with a Latin/Greek root word).

gastroscope: stomach
colonoscope: large bowel (colon)
nasal endoscope: nose/back of throat
laryngoscope*: upper airway (to larynx)
otoscope: ear
cystoscope: bladder

etc. etc.

*technically not a "tube" but whatever

borescope: when you don't have health insurance but you do have a buddy with a strong stomach and a Harbor Freight nearby.

Not sure exactly if this girl's MBP entirely, but she exagerates her tourettes and is a furry. She states she has multiple neurological disorders and her camera is always handy and already on the tripod whenever she has a fit. There also is no such thing as "tourettes rescue medication." And what does she do on instagram you ask, well her main sponsor is Adam & Eve so she reviews sex toys and fursuiting.
