Struggling to find the right words here but it's interesting how for around half a month now Chance has basically stopped mentioning John, William, and Southern. Like this is a pretty strong cold-turkey kind of cutting off. Seeing John pulling multiple bits on Chance with like zero reaction from the goblin is definitely a change of pace I wasn't expecting. Maybe this is just a waiting game to see if he becomes confident to start fighting the trolls again, or maybe he found his Flutter who's keeping him in line.
Don't forget that he got with another "best girl ever" and then broke up with them to go back with Jackie in less than 24 hours. Real question is where all these GFs are coming from or if he's just faking it all.

I suspect it will be the same reasons Cinemas gave.
William will say John isn't doing his part to really stop Chance, pull some random moral clause out of his ass about how to mess with him "the right way."

99% of buddy trolls involve themselves for the attention or in hopes they can become part of the lore. They are usually just as retarded as Raxx. The CIA Holes and Ethan's are the only one's that appear to have a real purpose i.e. help with ops or to leak info to the trolls. Good buddy trolls are very rare.
