Way to show everyone how much you don't care, Jimbo!

No stalker-kind, it is you who must go outside
"I answered the question clearly and you know it: I don't care what title people want to use. You attempted to turn it into something meaningful when it isn't."
lmao. The only person who made a big deal out of it was you.

All this retard had to do was just brush it off and continue the interview regardless if he wasn't happy with the host correcting him. What a thin-skinned baby, walking out of an interview less than a minute in over something so trivial while pretending he doesn't care. You have millions of people working in retail and fast food who have to deal with actually rude, hostile or unpredictable customers on a day-to-day basis, who don't get the choice to walk out, and this little bitch chucks a tantrum over his spurious title being fact-checked in real time. And this is the co-founder and owner of the biggest and most influential source of information in the current day and age. What a pathetic cunt.

Anyway, local archive in case the video gets ganked. It's almost not worth it, since the first 30 seconds are just a countdown to the start, the last two and half minutes are a list of supporters, and less than a minute is the actual "interview", but it's funnier with all the dead air dwarfing the "interview" proper and really puts into context how much of an entitled child Jimbo is. It's like a comedy sketch.

It was briefly touched on a few posts up, but I've been meaning to write a longer post about the recent Gaza and Jimbo Wales drama.

Back on September 21, an RfC was closed declaring that Wikipedia would state, unequivocally in wikivoice, that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. The discussion is long: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Gaza_genocide/Archive_12#RfC_on_first_sentence
The closing admin was User:Beland, who wrote a long justification, but one sentence seems to expose the main reason: "Option 1 was favored in more than a 2:1 ratio, and this determined the outcome." !vote indeed.

As a result, the following introductory paragraph was tacked on to the intro in an edit right after the close:
The Gaza genocide is the ongoing systematic destruction of the Palestinian people in Gaza by Israel during the Gaza war by means of blockade, invasion, and bombing of the strip with the manifest intent of senior Israeli leaders in the context of the war that is taking place there. This characterization of Israel's campaign in Gaza is supported by a wide academic consensus.
Of course, it's had many revisions since then.

This decision rippled across the encyclopedia. For example, there is now a Gaza genocide denial article which aims to treat it like Holocaust denial.

I know many Farmers are not fans of Israel, but in my view it is inconsistent with the neutrality policy to state unequivocally that this is a genocide. One could say that Israel has committed atrocities or war crimes in Gaza, but a genocide is something rather specific and it is highly contentious that this is really Israel's policy.

However, overall this is probably a good development. For years, liberals have said that right-wingers hate Wikipedia because it tells the truth. Reality has a well-known liberal bias! But there's a large contingent of Jewish liberals who have leftist views on culture war issues (BLM/trans/etc.) who would support all of Wikipedia's disinformation on these topics, but who also support Israel, and now have to face the fact that Wikipedia's processes produce fake and gay articles. In other words, the number of people who see that Wikipedia is an untrustworthy and fake encyclopedia will substantially grow as a result of this.

This brings us to Jimbo Wales, (co-)founder of Wikipedia (so far as I know fully Gentile), who has had a positive relationship with Israel over the years. He was asked about the article by a reporter, and said it was "just terrible". He then posted a long, characteristically smug and didactic, comment to the Gaza genocide talk page:
wales1.png
Transcript of interview: https://transcripts.cnn.com/show/ampr/date/2025-11-03/segment/01

The reaction from users was overwhelmingly negative. Should we cover both sides of the flat-earth controversy? Checkmate! The general sentiment was that the decision to call it a genocide was thoroughly considered before being made. One user made a comparison to covering both sides of the "race and IQ" debate (ha!). Meanwhile, Larry Sanger weighed in in support of Jimbo's positions, a rare case of the two agreeing.

For context, let us not forget that Jimbo has defended Wikipedia's terrible coverage of other topics over the years. For example, he defended the Gamergate article's accuracy. This may be the first case that made him critical of Wikipedia's processes.

The entire talk page section on Jimbo's comment was eventually collapsed by user Fram (remember Fram?) on the grounds of "Much, much more heat than light."

This drama seems to have largely petered out, although debate continues on the talk page about every choice of wording. However, in a hilarious aside to all of this, several idiot journos published pieces mis-reporting that Jimbo had locked the Gaza genocide article because of these concerns (which, by the way, he no longer has the authority to do). This falsehood was published in such diverse sources as Al-Jazeera and the Times of Israel:
Reliable sources indeed.
They did later change the articles to fix this.

It isn't a genocide by any customary definition of the word. They are not trying to eliminate all Palestinians, but specifically Hamas, which is an organization, not an ethnic, religious, or other group that can be the subject of a genocide. By the retarded definition they're using, the United States committed genocide against Germany by fighting the Nazis. Literally every war would be a genocide.

It would be accurate to say the General Council of the UN has repeatedly made such claims, with all the credibility such an utter joke of a body, filled with actually genocidal states like Sudan, has after declaring for years that literally anything Israel does in its own defense is genocide, while chanting "from the river to the sea," an overt call to wipe out all Israeli Jews.

I hate Wikipedia so fucking much.

I think the crux of the argument is whether Israel is lying. Are they just trying to kill hamas and is everything else collateral, or are they trying to get rid of the palestinians and is hamas just the excuse?
Hamas is obviously using the civilians in the strip as a human shield, and they were quite happy to support hamas before they got reamed by israel's big dick army. At the other hand israel is doing the same old "we didnt do it, and if we did it was an accident, and if it wasnt an accident it was a miscommunication, and if it wasnt a miscommunication it was deserved, and if it wasnt deserved we'll ask the US to veto"

If they wanted to and absolutely gave zero shits, that is, less than the microshits they currently care, they'd just be carpet bombing everywhere with a population with white phosphorus and the like.

This argument is often made, and the response is that Israel does intend to ethnically cleanse Gaza of Palestinians, but they try to avoid appearing to be doing it. That is to say, they could start vaporizing the entire population, but it would lose their American and European supporters, who they still rely on, and ruin what diplomacy they have with nearby countries, which is also important to their survival.

(Not saying I believe this, just that this is the counter-argument.)

I don't even believe there really is such a thing as a Palestinian. Almost all of them are actually from somewhere else, not even with any connection to the region. Yasser Arafat was a fucking Egyptian. Also fuck AI on this. Nice propaganda, jackasses.

Palestine should be eliminated not as a genocide but because even the other ayrabs don't want those fuckers. The question of Judaism is irrelevant.

Normally I wouldn't post here but the recent comments made me realize what would make me donate two dollars and eighty cents to Wikipedia, the complete removal of transgendered as editors. They are irrational and sow chaos and removing them would make Wikipedia better.
Thankfully they will never do that, so my microwave burrito money is safe.

It definitely is not a genocide but the jews want to turn my country and the continent from which my culture developed into a shitty brown racemixed corporate hellscape devoid of any culture outside of the slop they provide so I will continue to amplify all claims of genocide until their country is as shitty as mine or a radioactive crater. Fuck jews fuck israel.

That's actually a important part of the story you will never hear from the Palestinetards. Just like how the Israel cucks won't mention the honestly horrendous shit that has been done like the literal well poisoning they did back in the 1940s to drive them out or the fact they not once but TWICE tried to erase the concept of native palestinians from history.

Palestinians are kinda hated because while the arabs are on board with total kike death and such, the displaced palestinians proved to be horrendous immigrants. In the 1970s they literally tried to coup Jordan despite the fact the King and government were quite friendly to them because they thought Jordan wasn't TKD enough. In Egypt they kept misbehaving and causing Israel to go after them which also pisses them off.

In Egypt they kept building terrorist cells to strike at Israel from. Egypt tries to get more friendly to Israel after the two failed wars, but Palitard terrorists operating in your country frustrates that. In Jordan they turned their refugee camp into a fort and tried to overthrow the king. In Kuwait they immediately allied with Hussein when he invaded. They also backstabbed during the Iraq-Iran war. Whereever they end up, they either start fucking with Israel, souring relations, or they try to fuck your government. There is a reason Egypt immediately closed the border between Gaza and Egypt, they are pests.
Honestly, they're the perfect curse for Jews. Just as nasty and resentful.
