I don't agree with the notion that Ian simply skinwalked his way into fame. I see this with MMA youtubers. There are a certain group that act like spastic monkeys providing rage bait/acting like retards, and it gets them a boost until at some point it caps out because people either want to be entertained or informed, or engage with someone who is genuine. For Ian, acting like a retard/leaning into the self destruction works until it bottoms out, and him being genuine is the most boring experience you can listen to. He's bleeding subs, probably a lot of those subs are old and abandoned accounts or people forget they are subbed/the algorithm changes according to what they view so that he doesn't show up in their feed.
