A tourist from India who ordered a beef burger at a McDonald's outlet in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) subsequently confronted the staff loudly for serving her a non-vegetarian burger instead of a vegetarian one.

The incident has since gone viral on social media.

The incident

In a video cross-posted to Instagram and TikTok on Nov. 11, a McDonald's counter staff can be seen attending to a woman in a yellow shirt regarding her order.

"I'm from India, how can you..." said the woman.

"I know you're Indian," the counter staff responded, to which the woman questioned, "Then how can you do this?"

The woman went on to highlight that she is a regular customer of McDonald's and often orders vegetarian burgers.

When the staff reiterated that her burger is "not vegetarian", the woman said, "I know, but it's not mentioned also [that] it's beef".

The woman was subsequently seen walking away from the counter in distress.

The geo-tag of the video indicates that the incident took place at a McDonald's outlet in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

McDonald's Malaysia does not have vegetarian burger options on its menu, according to its website.

The video's caption claimed that the tourist "threw her burger box on the floor" before confronting the staff about not informing her that her burger order was not vegetarian.

The video has garnered over 237,000 views on TikTok as of Nov. 12.

'Her duty to ask, instead of blaming staff': Online users

In the comments, many online users expressed that it is the responsibility of the customer to specify her dietary preferences and check with the staff before placing her order.

Some users pointed out that just because McDonald's in India has vegetarian options, the woman should not expect all outlets around the world to operate similarly.

Watched a YT video of some british sped who took a 40 hour train ride through India. He had a private room, right? Bed, table, all that stuff. They never fuckin' left the guy alone. SAAR CAN WE GET SELFIE SAAR SAAR I MUST COME IN AND DO NEEDFUL MOP OF FLOOR SAAR even at like 3 in the goddamn morning. He locked his door and said it didn't do any good, they'd just beat on the door constantly until he got up. And it was every. hour.

The point being: fuck Indians for assuming they could or should get someone to cater to them, if that's an example of high end exclusive train ride.

A place like KLIA
At the airport they should be more culturally aware.
Do you think a Muslim sees a sign for hamburgers and thinks "a beef sandwich invented in Hamburg" without being told otherwise.
Do you think many Hindus know cheeseburger is short for beef burger with cheese? Especially at a chain which doesn't sell beef in India.

The zombies in Train To Pusan don't sound so bad now.

Yes? Are you under some assumption that every non-Christians are retards or something? Point being, this entitled lil shit should maybe do her research instead of screaming at some poor brown. If she's rich enough to travel from India to Malaysia, she's rich enough to get an education that includes learning how to read English.

I've been to McDonald's in India. Had something called a "Maharaja Mac" - basically a big mac with chicken patties. It was absolutely disgusting, instead of chicken it seemed like some kind of chicken flavoured paste. I binned it and tried to just live off bags of crisps for the rest of the trip.

One thing that I've noticed over my years in food service is that those that have religious dietary needs will gladly go against them to start shit with restaurants and fast food joints. We had a mudslime order a bacon cheeseburger despite us informing him that we had no turkey bacon. Eventually him and several other mudslimes attempted to hijack our phone line with them screeching like the goats they fuck. They only stopped when they realized one of our business partners was a jew.

Jeets and mudslimes definitely need to be lumped together in regards to the bullshit they pull when it comes to their dietary needs. Orthodox jews stick strictly to their own Jewish places while Florida jews just like to substitute a meal into something else.

It should be legal to beat any Indian you encounter, for any reason, or no reason at all, or just because you feel like it.
You know, in pre-Meiji Japan samurai were allowed to cut down any commoner who they felt offended them and then leave without needing to even present themselves to the local authorities. An excellent policy to have regarding Jeets.

Madam, I will be pleased to shit you a 'patty' you can enjoy. It will smell just like home. 👍

It's jeet raperats to blame for why burgerslop switched to seed oil shortening for its fryers too, right?
