Seriously though, how does he look worse now than he did during the Coke stream? What the fuck happened to his face and hair?
Stress from his defamation case with Monty, combined with nitrous abuse. I'm pretty certain his dad (who is obviously older) doesn't have such a fucked up hairline. It looked fairly consistent at least until late 2023 to early 2024, where it noticeably gets worse, and fast.
Perhaps I'm naive but I think KC not covering Nick has more to do with Ashton being heartbroken by Nick's story - particularly about the kids.
I disagree but not completely. Part of it has to do with how much the story personally pisses off Ashton, because Ashton (along with Metokur) believed that Nick had the potential to break out of Youtube and actually become a nationwide figure in legal commentary, only for him to completely throw it away from his drug abuse/alcoholism/swinging cuckoldry. When people compare Nick's downfall and Ralph's downfall, they note Nick's is worse, because his peak was so much higher than Ralph. Ralph was fucked from the onset due to a lot of horrifying things that happened to him while he was younger (doesn't excuse his current behavior), but still managed to create a show that entertained people, only for his latent issues to overcome him and beat his ass.
In contrast, Nick had every single advantage in life, and every single reason not to fuck up. At one point he was the second most superchatted person on Youtube in the
entire world, second only to Tim Pool (And this was right around when the Vtuber craze started)...and yet he decided sexual degeneracy and cocaine were more valuable than leaving a legacy to support his wife and children. It's fucking disgusting how he threw it away, and his grandparents would be ashamed. If you're a person who doesn't know about Nick and sees this, you'd be heartbroken. If you, like most people in this thread, were a fan at one point, it fucking infuriates you. Null's statement that the most vicious critics of a person were once the most ardent defenders is true for Nick.
All that said, I think the reasons Ashton and Andy haven't covered Nick very much recently is three-fold:
One, Nick just hasn't made much content to make fun of (HE'S BORING! HE'S BALD!), he streams maybe once or twice a month at that, and the stuff he does is boring.
Two, the stuff he has done just isn't substantial enough to warrant covering. Remember that when KC started popping off from their Rekieta coverage last year, they had his coke stream, his arrest, and his child testing positive for cocaine all back to back to back. If you hated Nick around the time of those events then (and you should, it's objectively the correct opinion even now) you were
feasting. At peak activity, this thread was moving hundreds of pages per day, and it was glorious.
Three, they're prioritizing people who are currently doing more ridiculous and funny bullshit consistently. Ian and Anisa are the first come to mind, obviously.
I think there's maybe three things that could result in some form of substantial Nick coverage by the Casino:
1. Another arrest
2. Body cam footage release
3. Some other form of legal feltening that can't be ignored
I'd recommend using good opsec even if you don't give a single shit whether Nick doxes you, because having him spin his wheels seething about who you are is its own reward.
The internet has left people way too comfortable with giving out their personal information. If you're not a retard, nobody should be able to know where you even work.
I think the poorfag Rekieta arc is coming sooner than we think.
He is frequently complaining about the cost of things. He's not paying his speeding tickets, has admitted a regular job as a possibility.
I unironically believe Nick would let his children starve if the alternative was to get a job that paid the bills. He let his children starve when he did have a gig that paid the bills, for fuck's sake.
Yes, I do think that lowly of him, and you should too.
Dear God, are... are we back? Maybe?
If Rapt's post is accurate, there's legal shit going on with Nick we don't even know about. There's a non-zero chance we could be getting something funny before the end of 2025, whether it's through the grapevine by someone who knows him, or something that comes out through other means. I'm hoping we get a CFAA charge (cope) but if he was to get in legal trouble for something else entirely, it could still be really funny. Still don't think he'd win LOTY, because I think they're just going to give him some sort of achievement this year that means he can't qualify for it anymore.
