I don't think you can say new base just yet, it's AOC who isn't all that popular outside of the big cities, and mayoral race in the same bubble. Even if they are rising in popularity, they're probably not going to poll well outside of cities yet. I think we need to get deeper into the 2026 midterms to actually see what is happening on a national scale, putting that much stock in AOC or an equal would be a bad idea imo, they'd win back some voters if they pushed Bernie's old ass over AOC.
