1) There's been a shit-ton of inflation, so people can't afford things any more
2) If we allow prices to fall, the economy will shit its pants
3) solution: allow inter-generational or possibly even inter-geological-epoch debt to get payments slightly lower so people can pretend to afford things by renting them but pretending to own them

Someone is definitely talking to Trump and pitching these insane ideas, otherwise I don't think it would even pop up on his radar. Whoever that someone is, Miller needs to deport them from the Oval Office and resume his brand of whispering.

I think I have a solution to the entire American system. Make it so the president must be someone who has been in the military and at least gotten shot at. Make it so congressmen CAN'T have been lawyers, and make it so judges are selected in a lottery. I think it honestly could not be worse if every governmental position was just a lottery like Jury duty at this point because the biggest problem with power is it attracts mainly psychos.

Oh hey, if anybody still cares about the whole "Trump isn't allowed to send the National Guard to Chicago" case, that's still sitting in SCOTUS collecting amicus briefs like they were Beanie Babies. Trump had asked them for a stay on the 7th Circuit's ruling, and a week and half ago the parties were directed to file some extra info, specifically:

Better to let prices fall and suffer some short-term pain than this nonsense which in the long term will probably lead to some serious civil unrest.

The economic TPTB need to realize that if they don't want to deal with real communist style revolution in this country they need to just suck it up and take a bit of a bath.

Or they can continue to be dipshits and keep pretending that they can keep things going by importing millions of illiterate third worlders, which will probably only serve to strengthen any would-be communist style revolution.
 
What's the deal on challenging the 5th Circuit and "don't count ballots after Election Day"? 5th Circuit made a good decision, so what does this mean? 5th Circuit can stay and no election fuckery in its areas, 5th Circuit overturned and its business as usual, 5th Circuit stays and now the law of the land, or "count every ballot after Election Day" no matter what?

Just because other Democrats would have done it doesn't mean that George W. Bush had to do it. That pretty much sums up the problem with neo-cons right there. They accept defeat as an inevitable outcome so they just allow the country to be raped. This makes a lot of sense considering they aren't actually conservatives or Republicans, they are Democrats just pretending to be Conservative to infiltrate the Republican party.
