I think the biggest difference is that when Aaron said we was willing to abandon his kids for April, he was saying it to April to try to get her back, and there's good reason to believe he wasn't being sincere and was just telling her what she wanted to hear, and would have walked it back after it had its desired effect. When Nick told Ralph that he wants April and not Kayla, there's no reason to believe April would have ever heard about it, so it can't be dismissed as just an attempt to get her back and Rackets was probably being as sincere as a pathological liar can be.

We misunderstood Nick all along. He starves his children to get the County's mean weight down for children. He's a hero.
 
I'd just like to add... the point of prioritising your spouse should be to model a good, loving relationship for your children, so they know what that looks like and don't stay in a shitty relationship thinking "this is normal".

That's the point. It's actually for the children. So no, the logical conclusion is not that you should tolerate neglect or abuse of your children. It's not "prioritise spouse 100% children 0%".

Nick and Kayla model a very shitty relationship for their children, so I feel sorry for them. They'll probably put up with abuse, or be abusive themselves, thinking it's normal because they grew up around it.

Nick also incorrectly guessed he would be able to steamroll Kurt however Kurt keeps chugging along. Most other law tubers didn't have the soft prey vibe about them in comparison....Nick isnt capable of handling confrontation he knows it and he went for what he thought was low hanging fruit.....as he usually is he was wrong

There were enough drugs to fill up the stationary safe, the portable sasfe, and from what people who saw BCF claim, out in the open, Nick was just running that big of drug operation. Im sure Nick didn't hid any stuff out there becasue he's the type of guy who'd think "im gonna do this coke soon so why bother with putting it in the safe".
