Saying you just believe in "egalitarianism" is generally just a polite way of saying "fuck off I don't want to talk politics." It gives you a label so people won't press further, and it's a universally acceptable position to the point only the most rabid retards will attack you for it.

Quite the opposite actually, "Egalitarian" is most often tossed around by people who don't want to call themselves something like a feminist or the like. "Are you a Feminist?" "No I'm an egalitarian" with the implication being that Feminism doesn't seek equality.

See this is a surprise to me, but it's good to know. Must be a regional and/or internet thing. I'm mostly drawing on (non-burger) real life experience rather than social media and it's usually meant an idealized view of a left-leaning policy (though I find the whole right/left thing kind of retarded anyway; as if people can't have varied stances on things).

I don't generally subscribe to the idea that you should avoid calling retards retards because "you should know better" when they act retarded. I'd say it was stupid if she said this as Kronii but on her own personals there's no real reason to avoid it.

Is it cathartic? Sure, maybe. Does it actually achieve anything? Probably not. Should you do it? 50/50. She could have just left out that last bit cause there's no way she didn't know she was going to draw out more retards with it.
