what i find really hilarious about the whole Joan d'Arc Affair is that she was associated with one of the cruelest and most vicious psychopaths of the middle ages Gilles De Rais.

It is supremely ironic that one of her associates was that monster.

Though at least as far as I understand, most if not all of his crimes didn’t occur until after she had died and he had quit the war. Not that he was the most morally upstanding man before that, far from it. But he didn’t start larping as a gay vampire until he was disgraced by Charles VII and spending all his time at home.

What did they even ban him for? I’m not exactly sad to see him gone, he’s a retard, but did he actually violate the ToS?

It's youtube, do they even have ToS or is it like every other homo tech company where it's just "We can do whatever we want and you can eat shit, peasant"?

They do, but enforcement is arbitrary. Unsurprising of course, for the reasons you mentioned.
But at least as far as I’ve ever seen, they pay lip service to it when they bring the banhammer down.

While this is true, I think people may have also been more aware due to him being the subject of one of the more well known Celtic Frost songs - Into Crypts of Rays
