If we look at the Nick today we see rebellion, refusal to confirm, an inflated ideology of their brilliance and value and uncontrollable with a rigid form of morality that is warped by anyones standards.

We aren't seeing a man who conquered his emotions and is the reverse of what he once was having triumphed, we are seeing a man entirely defeated who has been convinced that the form of themself today is something of their own creation and it's not, he is totally at effect of his environment - but thinks he is entirely in control.

Nick is an exceptionally fucked individual. If what Star Trek says is true, we have insight into just how far back Nick has been a tool for others, and sadly, it actually fits with what we see.

There is an interesting Drex component to the picture I posted. Drex's GF was flown to MN specifically to help the Rekietas organize their house. She didn't get anywhere because Nick and Kayla weren't helpful and she couldn't just throw everything away. Drex's GF ended up leaving with very little accomplished. She tried her best though.

the only other options i can think of would be one of their family members. Aaron would've spilled the beans already, the nanny wouldn't know about the deep lore and april wouldn't think to mention a random story about drex's girlfriend.
