They put out that message 5 years ago. Nothing changed tonight.
This is the first time they put it into practice and were rewarded for it (murdering Charlie Kirk and Jay Jones getting more support after the leaks where it said he wanted to murder Republican babies)

For a thread of retarded politispergs I swear that people here never bother looking at the races and the places they're being run. The Virginia GOP, who have been losers for decades, basically threw this one, because they couldn't get anyone other than Sears and she was always a terrible candidate. NoVA has fucked that state hard and has been doing so for the last two decades. New York City has been fucking themselves and that state for decades as well. These are some of the most unlikely places in the country to go or stay red and these results shouldn't have been unexpected in the least.

This is like someone telling you all is lost because a black district elected a black candidate.
It's mostly posters who only come here during elections. The outcomes tonight were about as expected. R's were hoping for UPSETS, not wins in swing elections and most people who aren't just trolling seem to know that.

Yeah, this is about what I was expecting, personally. This is part of the natural push and pull of our nation's politics. I fully expect the Dems to get a house majority in the mid-terms too, honestly, the GOP lead is too small for them not to, IMO.

Do the deportations, and crack downs on H-1bs mean nothing to anyone in this thread? 2 million illegals are already gone.

I have yet to see a convincing argument to why the gop would win the midterms aside from

“The demonrats are FINISHED this time trust me bro”

Very easy to reverse, Biden let 25
Million in. 2 million is nothing

Where do you guys research candidates before you vote?

If you aren't some kind of professional please shut up about optics.

Some of the most retarded gorilla nigger opinions ever so far have come out of opticsfagging.

The fact that the ballroom isn't being paid for by taxpayer dollars, even though a democrat could have absolutely funded it through the government even now and gotten away with it, fully addresses the optics.

Being a limp wristed cuck and never doing anything out of a nebulous fear of optics, on the other hand, has in fact produced some of the worst optics known to man
Agreed 100%. Giving a shit about optics when the other side doesn't AND never is penalized for it is how you lose and eat shit constantly. Lets not go back to "principled" conservatism please.

I'm waiting on the redistricting court case to settle before giving a definitive prediction on the mid-term, but for this race... yeah, not sure what everyone was expecting.

Solid blue states vote for blue candidates.

^This is an absolute disaster for the VA GOP and for now they seem to be headed the way of FL Dems and CO GOP. Hence the fireball.
The VA GOP has been openly fighting its own voters for about 10 years now, doing everything it can to prevent the voters from moving the party to the right. They ran the most useless, pointless candidate they could find as a giant fuck you to their base, who is predominantly rural. They don't read this as a big defeat, they read this as them having to take extreme measures (running a born loser) to neutralize their base.

Exactly. I lived in VA immediately post 9/11 for a few years, I cannot stress how much NoVA fags were hated by actual Virginians, but because commuting two-hours to DC each way every day was acceptable to people, the swamp was just constantly spreading throughout the state. Also the state GOP have always been borderline useless. Yes, the Harlem Globetrotters beat the Washington Generals, everyone is very shocked.

It's worse on X. But there, I suspect, it's an act for numbers. There's only a few pundits etc who are like "yeah no shit." Everyone else is all "OMG LOOK WE NEED TO RALLY FOR 26 THIS IS IT GUYS!" None of this was shocking.

Random shower thought...

If Zoltar is dependent on Federal aid which Trump will attempt to deny (which will only be partially successful because A Federal Judge Ruled Today)

And if he is also dependent on Kathy Hoschul committing political suicide bombing of her campaign against Stefanik by raising State taxes to give him money from Upstate, and/or her and Albany allowing him to raise local taxes and they don't

And NYC can't print money

Could they create some kind of NYC memecoin as an alternate currency to raise funds for his infinigibs and do an end run around currency printing rules in the US?

It would be interesting because if so, it would be a way for Blue cities to get more money. Certainly a lot of dumb liberals nationwide would invest for social credit good boi points and virtue signaling.

It very clearly was shocking, we had multiple people in this very thread who thought silwa was gonna win and everything was just peachy. Those same people who called everyone impatient children are now calling for the end of the filibuster and for trump to start Ignoring Judges kek

We are eating good Andrew Jackson enjoyers

That's nice and all, but it's not enough to overcome the GOP's problem. Namely, they only have a handful of seats over the Dems in the house. A pretty standard mid-term reversal gives the Dems a house majority fairly easily, given that.
