Polls and the like are not a reflection of reality. They're an attempt to influence reality by portraying what the poll maker wants voters to believe. The logic is because normies think like literal sheep- well, everyone else my age is voting D it seems, I best vote D or I won't be popular! It is all social engineering, nothing more. It's always "a-any day now, young voters are flipping to Democrat!" Then the vote comes and it's all BS and the narrative then becomes "young people are fucking stupid and we should be arresting these extremists".

So you still mean just Taxing the Rich™?

Thus tempting them to leave.
Still a smarter plan than whatever the new mayor got cooking.

The mayor wants to raise taxes which will certainly push the rich away.

@Balanced Boomer wants to lower the tax burden for everyone else which will not alienate the rich as much because their situation hasn't actually changed.

There is still the issue of where the money is going to come from in a city where people are either on welfare or working for social services and NGOs catering to the welfare population and taxing the ultra rich isn't going to make up for the millions of people not paying taxes.

Despite everything today, Donald Trump is still President of the United States. Would you have tolerated a Kamala Harris presidency to have gains in the governorships, legislatures, and courts today?
If Kamala was president we would still not have won those elections because she would have kept the flood of illegals and h1bs coming. Immigration is what will decide the future of this nation. Demographics is destiny. Hope ICE makes a dent before the midterms. Hope we win enough districts with MAGA candidates to start moving things in the right direction.

Younger voters are undeniably left-leaning. This isn't a new or a deniable pattern in voting. Hell, the thing most likely to change a female voter from democrat to republican is that she gets married, and has children. Polls can be bullshit, and young voters can be stupid at the same time.

Pack it in everyone. The momentum from the 2024 election is completely gone. Republicans are completely and utterly fucked beyond hope or recovery.

Right-wingers are a vanishing minority that is decreasing more and more with younger generations. Pretty soon American voters will exclusively be different flavors of leftism while all opponents of gay race communism are wiped from existence.

The big takeaway here is that there is no future for the right, and there never will be. It's over. The end.

Trump is incapable of not shitting the bed the second he gets into office. What the xitter user is proposing here is impossible

I genuinely don't know how the fuck these people fell for the Communist grift. I don't know how good Cuomo was (I assume he was shit), but at least he wasn't trying to promote this "pseudo-communism" in the city.

Take everything that I say about this with a grain of salt, though, as I live in a pretty small town FAR away from New York and I really don't give a fuck what a Communist does to an already shitty city.
They didn't.

What happened is that after multiple decades of systemic mismanagement, the Dems successfully chased out a huge number of people and businesses. At the same time, in 2019, DeBlasio ramrodded the NYC's Sanctuary City policies through unilaterally. Throw in years of selective crime enforcement, high taxation, and general policy paralysis on anything but what the fringe left wants, and they effectively supplanted the existing voterbase over the last two decades.

This chasing off countless New Yorkers wasn't a bug - it was a feature. They don't give a shit if it scares off existing businesses and people - it creates a power vaccuum they can immediately fill in with their own people. This is, by coincidence, also exactly what the Obama administration did to Minnesota, lest you think this is an aberration, by the way. The idea is that even in states that are otherwise trending red or outright red, this creates highly disruptive regional territories with a vested interest in pushing insane bullshit policy, with a landed voterbase that will never, ever vote them out.

The reverse oracle has spoken! The right shall rule for a thousand years without interruption! All praise the reverse oracle, and his truth!

It cannot be understated how hard the right is blackpilling at the moment. They are living in absolute misery while the left lives on cloud nine and rules over them in perpetuity. Being a right-winger in 2025 is psychological and social suicide. Soon enough, it will be actual suicide.

So much for JD telling the right "despair is a sin". I expect rope and helium tank sales to skyrocket in red states pretty soon.

What the fuck is this spelling? Is your programming malfunctioning?
Me making a minor spelling error doesn't change the fact that the right has completely lost the youth vote for good and as a result will never take power ever again.

After another 3 1/2 years, Democrats will simply roll back every thing that Trump has accomplished when they get a democrat into office. Republicans think that the democrats low polling numbers are their demise but in the old Democratic Party ashes rises the new democratic socialist party
not to mention the @GOP in their respective states aren’t doing anything to combat california’s gerrymandering
It’s all smoke and mirrors. Nothing will ever be accomplished quite apparently and that’s the plan. Delay. Obfuscate. Ignore. Play out the term with more lawfare clearly aided and abetted by the Congressional GOP. So very disappointing all around
It’s all just fake talk to keep people complacent believing trumps going to save the day. But instead he’s slowly let all the shit happen he said he was stoping and not a single arrest and prosecution of deep state bunch of fake pussy indictments. The game is up it’s obvious now uniparty all the way
Another 3.5 years? We will lose everything in midterms and Trump will be impeached. It won’t be the fault of the Democrats either. This falls solely on the Republicans and President Trump! 😞
With broken elections they will clean the floor with republicans and at this point I’m going to let them
Actually read the replies to this tweet.

The right has completely given up and are letting the Democrat socialists walk all over them, because they know it's what they deserve.

JD Vance was wrong. Despair isn't a sin. It's the only thing we have left. It's completely and utterly hopeless.

For a thread of retarded politispergs I swear that people here never bother looking at the races and the places they're being run. The Virginia GOP, who have been losers for decades, basically threw this one, because they couldn't get anyone other than Sears and she was always a terrible candidate. NoVA has fucked that state hard and has been doing so for the last two decades. New York City has been fucking themselves and that state for decades as well. These are some of the most unlikely places in the country to go or stay red and these results shouldn't have been unexpected in the least.

This is like someone telling you all is lost because a black district elected a black candidate.
