The Indian jokes compilation taken out of context may seem tame, but if you look at the show in its entirety, you will see how it treats minorities and subjects deemed "problematic" today. In no particular orders:

• Raj, like all Indians, is a creep sexual pest.

• The only vaguely recurring black character is the head of HR lady (no joke).
• There are no black characters, period. Which is a true depiction of the black demographics in the STEM field.
• Lots of jokes on fat people.
• No LGBTQ+ characters.
• There's gay innuendo between some characters, but it is always depicted as something cringe and to laugh at, not as something to celebrate.
• All characters end up in monogamous relationships. Marriage and some characters having kids are central points of the series. Although it is used as a context to make jokes, it is always depicted as something to value and to aim for. VERY problematic.

Maybe it was intentional, maybe it was just what was acceptable even for a TV show back then. In any case, I am quite surprised that Anisa's husband is promoting such a problematic and tone deaf show to his current audience of trannies and mentally ill cat ladies.

She didn't sear the meat properly; the chicken wasn't browned at all, the only color is coming from the soy sauce. Looks really light-colored for teriyaki too. Nothing's quite like the faint suggestion flavor paired with the bold, robust taste of white meat.

• Chicken Breast? for teriyaki? Maybe I refuses to eat dark meat. Retards can be quite picky.
• Someone mentioned she might have left the skin on the chicken, it's possible. It would explain the bizarre shape it's in. I can tell the meat wasn't seared well. You can swing that in a braise, Chinese people almost exclusively leave the skin on. It will basically turn into gelatin if given a long time of slow cooking. However, a poor fry job with no searing will just turn the skin into rubber.
• If you grilled the squash, why the fuck didn't you just grill the chicken?
• Why is your squash served like a baked potato? Couldn't peel the skin you lazy bitch?
• Cut up the squash and eat it with chopsticks so it matches the rest of the meal. Although, I do like to imagine I struggling to eat his rice with a fork; would look very Cuckoo's Nest.
• Long grain rice? for Japanese food? I thought the Hasan sphere were all weeaboo tryhards; surely you would at least buy a vaguely Japanese looking bag of rice. Maybe Anisa and I can only afford the Great Value beaner slop these days.
• Two savory cooked vegetables seems redundant. A salad or pickles would be nice
• I know Japanese people eat a lot of green onions, but they don't just throw them on anything. At least slice them on the bias if you're going to larp as a food influencer.
• Speaking of which, sharpen your knife. Green onions are not particularly hard to cut.
• Even at its best, eggplant usually turns out slimy. The chicken looks slimy. The squash is soft, rice is soft. Some texture would be nice.
• Isn't she an athlete? Why so little protein?

Overall, the chicken looks gross. The other stuff is probably fine, it's just tasteless mush. Prisoners eat prison food, that's just their life now.

So they are paying some other company to do all the work. Collect rent, maintenance, ext. meaning they will get nothing or still probably loose money since they will need to still pay property tax each year. Also heaven forbid something go wrong because all of that will be on them to pay. The management company isn't covering shit and any maintenance will be at x1.5 to x2 standard rate as they are paying the management company to "lease" out their maintenance guy to fix any issues. While not the worst idea since the house clearly won't sell. Knowing them they did not scrutinize the numbers and don't realize they are still going to be loosing ~$6k a year holding the property plus any incidentals by a tenant. All it will take is one bad tenant and they will be out $50k again. Hopefully they were not dumb enough to allow pets.

95% sure Maureen is a shit cook who makes bland slop. Children of good cooks can usually pick up something through osmosis being around people who care about the quality and preparation of meals. Anisa has never exhibited any real understanding of what people care about in food, why cooks like it, or why nourishment is essential to domestic harmony. If Maureen had any culinary passion Anisa would have ran home, had her cook her some childhood favorites and posted pics online for asspats.
