She's not going to spend the time required talking to, and soothing, the kitten out of its hiding places to make it more comfortable around her/exploring the apartment. Like others have said, Siamese also get VERY vocal and they absolutely loathe any change to their daily routine. The cat will be rehomed/abandoned before December.

I find it funny that this is the third cat Chantal has gotten her hands on since Julia, and it’s looking like this is the third time an attempt to get a new cat mascot for her channel will blow up in Chantal’s face.

You'd think an experienced caht owner who has taken exceptional care of her feline prisoners in the past (according to her) would know not to scruff an already scared kitten.
