Hopefully this is good news, but I know not to get my hopes up. How long do you think it will be until the Honorable Judge Barlow gets off his ass and does whatever it is he is going to do? They sure haven't had much motivation so far.
Well I would assume that because this was entered, hes perusing them right now.

"District Judge David Barlow will handle the motion."
Probably because Russtard requested it in his motion and the DJ is going to handle all of it. I still want to hear Greer back up his assertion that Taylor was "eager to testify" and "fact-based opinion." Hopefully, Barlow was brushing up on typing DENIED.

Wait, has he handled other kiwifarm cases? Is it safe to assume that he may actually read all of the filings?
The filing is a pretty mundane "work item X has been assigned to A" and the joke is treating it as if it were an existential and horrifying threat, causing terror and panic
And referencing Ronald Reagan's well-known statement "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are 'I'm from the government, and I'm here to help.'"

Isn't 366 the plaintiff's motion?
There you go:

There's been so many motions I don't even know what motions are what anymore.
I mean, the thread has a search function, and the motions ARE LITERALLY FUCKING NAMED IN THE SCREENSHOT. There's also courtlistener. Take your pick.
Isn't this the motion Greer made to Barlow and Hardins request to be given leave to respond if the court does anything but overrule Greers Objection?
The latter, yes.

I'm actually hoping Barlow has questions, and requests that Hardin respond. Because that would give Hardin a chance to counter the Magistrates belief that no harm was done to the defendant. And tell Barlow Point Blank that the case came back to him from Florida due to Greer lying about his "eager to testify" dead witness. Which was used to deny the defense their appropriate venue.

Last time Barlow stepped in it was to mettle with the sanction fee. I want to be optimistic but history has shown him to tard guard Russ.
Part of his reasoning when letting Russell off the hook with a reduced sanction was that it was the tard's "first sanction".

Russell could have heard the implied warning, fixed his behavior, and not racked up any more sanctions. Instead, he did the opposite, and is now openly admitting that even a full sanction wouldn't make him straighten up.

If Barlow tard guards again, he'll be saying he likes being made a fool of.

This case has been going for over 700 years. I don't believe "fool" fully captures the essence here.
