Incredibly generous maternity leave and free medical care for children/mothers. State run mental health centers where mentally ill people are rehabbed.

Conservative:

Ban the Muslim Brotherhood, heavily restrict immigration from Muslim countries and make sure that the ones that come in are going to integrate. Work Camps for homeless people with the mentally ill people sent to asylums. Extremely loose deportation policy for immigrants, you fuck up and back to your home country.

months before today I figured that if Curtis Sliwa was the R nominee, that I'd vote for a Write-In option. I refused to vote for him in 2021 because of his NeverTrump past. I was also turned off by seeing some libshits online say "Sliwa actually seems like a decent guy not like one of those MAGAts. He is an old school rule of law Republican, if more GOP politicians were like him then Trump would be imprisoned like Bolsonaro"

but the Charlie Kirk assassination made me figure that I ought to vote Sliwa as a pro-right-wing-unity move and I'm guessing Charlie's spirit would want me to vote for Sliwa, so that's what I did earlier today (2nd day of early in person voting in New York City; I live in an area with many East Asian and South Asian immigrants so that's why there are all those foreign scribbles. My area swung heavy towards Trump in 2024 and Mamdani obviously won't do as well in NYC as Eric Adams did 4 years prior in 2021 as D nominee)

I was certain that Mamdani was going to be the next Mayor on around 9:40pm the night of June 24 when I peeked at the Democratic primary results. Too many voters in NYC who just mindlessly vote for the D next to the name, though Mamdani will nevertheless heavily underperform Eric Adams' 2021 performance and de Blasio's 2017 and 2013 performances because of Cuomo siphoning away older Dem and affluent voters who are worried about Mamdani's extremism.

Libtarded: The current monetary and political system has clearly failed, it is designed exclusively to benefit multi-billion dollar corporations at the expense of average person. There is no reason on God's green earth why when the majority of people under the age of 50 can't afford to buy a house that fucking multinational mega corps should be allowed to buy mass amounts of residential property just to turn it into an asset and rent it out at exorbitant prices.

Neocon: Empire building is cool and based if it's done on behalf of your own people (i.e not Israel) and you don't do it half way. I'm perfectly fine with taking over the middle east or some shit but if you're going to do that, you have to be brutal. No exit plan, you're colonizing them and turning their land into ours and ours alone. The one thing Cuomo and Sliwa have in common over Zoltar is they are NYC all the way. Sliwa cares about NYC, it's problems, it's culture, and it's people first. He's fought for it (literally, in the streets) for decades. I mean, it's shitty culture and I hate it, but that is kinda what you want in a Mayor of NYC.

Zoltar is a Marxist Muslim first and will use his platform as Mayor to grandstand on a national stage for Marxist Muslim policies nationwide and NYC will be on his back burner.

Cuomo will grandstand too, and he might still try to go for President, but you can't say he's not a born and bred guy from The City who puts NYC above all--it was one of (many) reasons he sucked as Governor of the whole state.
