Seeing as how there's no paint damage, I'm going to assume Nick was throwing a temper tantrum and kicked the car to cause the rear dent. Looks like he's in this jacket - which is textured in some way and has red thread highlights. I've always interpreted it as being snakeskin patterned. Very demure! He doesn't know where a tie is supposed to sit but otherwise, we've seen considerably worse fits from him. And that one is a lot closer to being court appropriate than his last one.

It's definitely more Michael Scott than Hunter S Thompson though.
