I read through the entirety of the discord leaks, and honestly, it felt like a massive waste of time. There's virtually no real insight into the shooter. Nothing about his motives, political beliefs, planning, or anything that actually help explains or confirm what is already obvious and known.

Instead, it's just page after page of someone describing the disgusting day to day life of a deeply unstable troon with obvious attention seeking behavior, whose only real connection to the shooter seems to be that they were fucking. It barely mentions Tyler at all. The whole thing reads more like a personal smear campaign against Lance for ruining magic night than serve as anything informative, written by some one who didn't have the courage to confront him directly for mistreating his magic cards.

The leaker themselves comes across as a pretty unreliable narrator. They didn't even realize Tyler and Lance were homos until it became undeniable, they seem to have a poor grasp of social dynamics in general. It's hard to take their persepctive seriously. The leaker thought it was normal for grown men to get drunk, cuddle and spoon other men... I think that tells you everything you need to know about the leaker.

After reading it all, I'm left with the exact same questions I had as before and I got answers to questions I didn't even want. I don't care about Lance's gorilla nest. None of this shit matters in helping understand the case. The entire leak feels like a disorganized useless dump of discord brain rot that adds nothing of value.

Every one involved deserves to die.

Other people can speak to it more, but there are certain types of events that happen around drugs and alcohol that result in an outcome that feels like the original person is gone.

I'm not trying to be vague here. Sometimes it comes from a long period of abuse (seen in alcoholics), sometimes it happens the first time someone tries a certain substance (like those LSD horror stories), and other times it seems completely random (like someone smokes weed for a while, then one day he has an anxiety attack while smoking and he doesn't "come back"). I've personally seen it firsthand and heard about it countless other times from friends and even online.
You'd think it would have an easy explanation like "Oh the alcoholic just pickled their brain" or "That guy had a predisposition for schizophrenia and the drugs turned on his mental illness." but I've never actually seen any brain scans or anything like that on people who had been affected.

There's also a similar phenomenon where people's personalities change after doing certain drugs, but that's not the same thing. In the case of the personality changes one, that's (I think) closer to what people talk about when they get "insight" or their "mind expands" from doing certain drugs. Sometimes a change or perspective or a bad trip is enough to make someone change significantly, but it's not the same thing as what it looks like happened here.
