Is is me or has new blood interactive stagnated in some aspects? Dusk, Amid Evil, and Faith are the only games I can think of that new blood interactive published that reached completion. Looking in from the outside, It seems like they can't stop fucking adding shit or get to work.

I get it, people have lives and this isn't their main job, but we all know maybe a handful of these people have kids and the others are just gooning all day and night in Discord.

I recall the demo/beta/whatever of this coming out and despite my reservations with the low-poly FPS red flag, kind of thought the premise and the main character design was actually cool.

Of course, it immediately descended into the deepest abyssal troonslophell when the creator shoved in a healing fumo and coomer furry OCs, it's like they can't help themselves and just toss in whatever they like with no regards for the consistency of their setting. Another sign of troonsloppa, besides that, is the stilted overwrought dialogue and wordswordswords they also can't help but put in.

the general issue is that the only other titles they got (that aren't those three and blood west) are EA projects that most likely rely on discord groups to function, see fallen aces, ultrakill (even if it's a fun game) and probably gloomwood

I was watching some slop video about horror indie games quite some time ago, narrator comes to the first game, shows gameplay and names the studio (i sadly forgot the name) and in a split second i knew it was troon-made. Googled to check and yeah, tranny trash. Now that would be an interesting gaming experience. Investigating, exposing, and piecing together conspiracies like The Finders and the Bohemian Grove. I suppose like The Secret World, except without the garbage microtransactions and unneeded MMO aspect. Or Nancy Drew, a very dark and chilling Nancy Drew.

Stuff like that is just something normal people go "man that was weird fuck those guys" and the rest of the game is going on a journey to try and save you girlfriend. You pretty much forget those two bums in the beginning because it's just something that happened and you can see happening in a place like that in the intro. Nowadays everything has to be a problem that stretches over the whole game when at best it would be something most people would have forgotten about since it's insignificant to the story.

I don't really give a shit that much anymore. If a game makes fun of my politics, beliefs or the dev has a damning past history or tweets, I just pirate their shit and move on. They're not a person to me anymore, but just an extra problem in my life I don't need to think about.

It's not that I'm butthurt, It's more of a "getting older" thing where you become less empathic as you figure out your place in the world as well as not having enough energy or time to care about bullshit like this anymore.

I always notice this too and it makes for really odd prose and confused themes. There's this strange phenomenon only made possible by the internet where we have literate people with huge vocabularies and lots of ideas who have somehow never read a book in their life.
