I kind of agree with the general point of the video, in some circumstances. If you are trying to teach people who don't care about shooting or firearms and who won't train to use them competently unless violently forced to, to a very minimal standard where they MIGHT be able to hit something inside a hundred yards, perhaps:
a) your wife who hates guns
b) your mom
c) 95+% of police officers
they should probably just be taught with a red dot first in the hope that they might be able to hit something given the minimal amount of training that will be imposed on them.

People actually interested in the shooting sports should probably learn fundamentals, though.

i will say, being fat gives you more lee way in rapid rifle shooting. when i lost 250 pounds i noticed that my sights were jumping around ALOT more because i had less fat on my bones to absorb it.

And shooting prone became actually painful because the recoil impulse was going right into my bones.
