This is where twitch fucked up. They booted out the security that she got herself and forced her to get by with whatever twitch happened to provide. Now twitch is fully on the hook.

The other awkward thing is unlike boy bands, these twitch streamers are getting tens of thousands of dollars from fans just to get the streamer's attention. This is a recipe for disaster and twitch needs to make sure all streamers raking over those whales have full protection.

Isn't it reasonable to assume to that they probably feel the same way about Twitch? While I don't think Israel forced Hasan to abuse his dog on camera, I do think Mossad may have used its resources combing through his livestreams for dog abuse clips to distribute to social media. Anyways, putting this all together, it all feels like narrative engineering for a Twitch takeover a la TikTok. Staging an incident to feed the narrative and put more pressure on Twitch is probably a noob-tier assignment for an actor like Mossad.

As far as I can tell, after the kiss he simply walked away. The best case scenario after that is that he just fucks off, which it seems like he did, and they let the police do their jobs. I completely agree with you, except I do have a little empathy for the streamers.
A dude who wraps his ferrarri around a utility pole doing 115 is in a situation completely of his own making, but I still feel that shouldn't happen anyone. Some chinese tourist getting gored by a bison is regretable, even if they did something stupid.
So I think its fucked up some dude grabbed her and tried to kiss her against her will, even I wholly agree with you that its a situation she stoked and brought on herself.

But she cultivated her audience, she shows just enough ass, tit, and body to not get on the wrong side of censors. She streams hours a day, does "work out streams", becomes part of these people's lives or they won't donate the hundreds and thousands for her to fund her lifestyle. She knows it. I wouldn't say this its a huge fuck up on the part of security, this a systemic fuck-up of the event design. There was not enough security, the event venue was poorly designed for control and observation. There is only so much even Frank Horrigan or Kevin Costner could do.

Private security at events like this are not police officers and don't have the power to arrest people.

Not municipal police officers, but some private security are sworn and armed and have the authority to detain and hold in custody before handing them off to local law enforcement. Of course, they command a higher salary than basic security guards and go through a much more rigorous vetting process. They also must be licensed and range-qualified (with ongoing requalification).

Using lower level (cheaper) security might be understandable if you're just trying to stop vandalism or shoplifting, but at some point the hosting authority should be held responsible for providing reasonable security. All that being said, whether it's Barney Fife or Jack Reacher there's only so much security can do. Their mere presence might be a deterrent but if John Q. Asshole is determined enough he's going to get what he came for.
