Dan Clancy is definitely responsible for what Twitch became. Whenever you see something degenerate on the website, it's this motherfucker's fault and he is probably jerking off to it.
He has unironically ruined a good portion of the new generations by standardizing gooning to women online using the excuse of "videogames". I hate it so fucking much its unreal.

My thinking is along the same lines. Not that she deserves it or that what this fucker did is justified, this shit is obviously disgusting and wrong.
But these women use sex appeal to attract their audience, so it should be a given to expect that shit like this could happen at any moment.
That's why she had a personal bodyguard in the first place, and relying on Twitch to handle it instead, knowing how incompetent they are, was reckless.

That's why out of all these people I can only respect Asmongold. He might be a filthy roach, but he always speaks his mind, even if it means being wrong sometimes, knowing it could invite a shitstorm even if he is right when talking about sensitive topics.

I'm working on kind of an effort post for a hispanohablantes thread, and the tl;dr is that there were a few individuals in the Buenos Aires anime con community outed as pedos earlier this year.

What did cons do about them? Almost nothing. One of them allegedly got banned from a few cons (per just a few Instagram story statements, which isn't good enough, imo). The other, nothing because he's a cripple. But hey, a few did add a sign that's kinda like those "Cosplay is not Consent" signs (almost no one cares to read them).
And now that THIS shit with Emiru is happening, and I read your post, I'm close to a-logging.
One con in Buenos Aires, via instagram dms that I didn't save, had said the same line about adding extra security.

Bullshit. If there's a manual to running cons in a sleazy way, it definitely has tips about how you can handwave concerns away by saying there will be "extra security" next time.

I'm gonna guess Twitch con isn't small, either. It's probably not free to get in, so their main concern is probably to get press about how cool and big it is, and making money from people paying for tickets.

Funny thing is that upon googling twitchcon, these were among the first results: Well done, retards!

That would be crazy if that's what happened.

Not only did they not have security - but apparently the e-girls were not allowed to supply their own. So it wasn't even a "we thought she had it covered" kind of fuck up - they expressly knew this was going to be a thing.

That said - if you're already a multimillionaire from being a parasocial "streamer", maybe you don't need to do the Twitchcon meet and greet and just say no to some money for once.
 
yeah i mean, i dont think it's great that it happened BUT these are the men who are making these holes millionaires. no one is watching for their epic esports tier gameplay. When she goes back to her Texas mansion she can think about who paid for it.
