What if this is another attention whoring staged event? Lurch there didn't give a fuck. Twitch security didn't appear to give a fuck.

I am not saying what occurred wasn't possible. But staging is equally if not more likely. I would say most people who had no clue who she was, now know she exists.

And if it is true that she staged this "stalking" event,
What do you do with streamers who cry/stage wolf?

If it ever came to light this was indeed staged, do you think Twitch (Amazon) with near unlimited law resources wouldn’t ruin everyone involved for damaging their corporate image to the extent they have?

Way too risky to stage that.

Emiru talked about it on stream today. Here are the most important pieces of information she shared.
  • She is pressing charges against the dude.

  • Twitch’s initial response was to say “hey, the guys banned from the website for 30 days!”, Emiru also states nothing would’ve happened if nobody recorded it.

  • “Key Twitch representatives” were out partying when it happened. Asmongold says it was CEO Dan Clancy.

  • Emiru (and Asmongold) both allege that there have been other events of sexual assault and physical attacks, and Twitch has covered them up. :stress:

Streamers being stalked or attacked is not new.
Not only in events but also in their houses.
Some fans from the texas streamers and LA streamers are fucking insane, like going to camp outside the house with a tent and see all they do, and reported to the police and then the guy did it again lmao

I mean, fucking porn conventions don’t seem to have the problems TwitchCon has. Or maybe they just know enough to cover it up better, I guess?
Different mentality I would say. Porn is bad, but it isn't a parasocial relationship. People go to porn, they jack off, they leave when they are done. Twitch thots deliberately foster parasocial relationships with viewers and become "friends" with them in order to extract more money out of them, and this leads to the sort of behaviour you see in the video. This isn't justifying any of it, just stating I think there is a bit of a mental shift between the 2 examples you gave.

Emiru said in her tweet that Twitch security did absolutely nothing to help and their staff didn't even bother coming over to see what happened. Disgusting display from them. I hope they get hit hard financially from this. They've been doing this for years.
I hope she sues Twitch for this and this is the catalyst that causes Amazon to liquidate Twitch.

Doesn't Twitch take a pretty big chunk of the money their streamers earn? It is unfathomable how they can't even protect their own people and punish them for hiring their own protection. Actually, not really because they probably identify with that weirdo since Twitch staff also wants to brutally rape all of their female streamers.

They will take 50% of your money minimum, and despite them doing this to every streamer, they still arent profitable. Even with the 3 minutes of ads they run on every stream every 20 seconds, they aren't profitable.

1. Private security at events like this are not police officers and don't have the power to arrest people. If the man simply walked away afterward they were right to let him go. Trying to stop him could have escalated the situation into further violence.
I'm not super informed on this, but isn't there a concept of citizen's arrest they could use regardless of if they are police or not? If it was completely unrecorded/no evidence I would agree it's risky to prove, but given the whole thing was caught on camera I would say they would have a pretty good case to restrain the guy until police arrive and could argue in court they did it to keep others safe. Pretty sure this would be covered as legal, but I assume it depends on the state laws etc...

Emiru does not do pornographic content.
You don't need to be a pornstar to foster parasocial relationships. In a lot of cases, it serves their purpose better to not do that stuff as it leaves the parasocial viewer to construct a fantasy about it and will allow them to construct irrational thoughts around that fantasy such as "if I just donate more money maybe they will finally notice/date/fuck me". It's also not exclusively a female thing, they just happen to be some of the biggest perpetrators of it in streaming.

Hasan is another example of a person who does this with his fans, just in a different way with extreme political ideology instead of sex as the motivator. (You can see a very similar parasocial interaction with Hasan there is a clip of him in Australia on a street and this bat shit insane muslim woman comes up to him and is having a deranged tangent about politics.)

Even if it is parasocial, which is the way streaming works anyway, I don’t think failing to punish a fan thinking he’s owed something from her would discourage that.

In my ideal world she’d have to get a real job, sure, but I’m not bound by a strong need to see her punished in an unusual way.

Which is why Women Discourse gets so cancerous— Certain people want cruel and unusual justice paid to women who just took the path of least resistance in life, and have no concern for what that foments down the line. And the justifications get flimsier and flimsier because it’s a criminalistic impulse that just wants any reason.

You might mistakenly think this is the final solution to the twitch question, but all the gayniggers who work there know this is what their entire userbase is like so they can't afford to respond in the manner you want them to.

One, I don't care, Twitch people are a fucking scourge. Two, I do care (kinda) because while I'm quick to tell whores they're showing skin for attention, I'm also of the sense of "Keep your fucking hands to yourselves." This mostly applies to theft as it makes me sperg, but I extend it to your body as well. Third, Twitch should've let Emiru's previous bodyguard in (he got banned for touching another weirdo one year) or gotten better security for her. She's been publicly harassed/touched/groped while doing the hell that is IRL Streaming. I'm not saying she needs barbed wire and a metal detector, but the girl draws attention and it'd be fucking wise to protect your asset. Fourth, Twitch covering shit up? Imagine my fucking shock. Fucking boo hoo hoo, see response one (I don't care).

As far as I can tell, after the kiss he simply walked away. The best case scenario after that is that he just fucks off, which it seems like he did, and they let the police do their jobs. It sounds like Emiru wanted them to tackle him to the ground and drag him kicking and screaming into a back room to await his arrest. That's just not what typical security guards are for. It's dangerous for both them and the suspect, and it's asking for a major lawsuit.
Most people aren't aware of this; that's why at the height of California insanity where they legalized all theft under $950, you'd get videos of blantant thievery, and the "security" just standing by and watching. Everyone asking why isn't security doing anything; because if they touch the person, they can fake an injury and sue the store, it's shitty, but it happens, it's why security doesn't touch anyone really anymore. Too many stores got sued and can't afford to carry the "Tackle that thieving bitch" levels of security insurance.

You know a platform staff is morally bankrupt when they're trying to cover up a woman getting sexuality assaulted.
They had a guy named Hasan (not Piker, not Cenk's nephew, just same name) who was like, the head Twitch Cop/Janny. Dude was getting nudes (and probably more) for favors. Twitch has been predatory from day 1.

The only solution is to have Emiru get into a very public and physical relationship with Hasan. This is three fold-
1. It distracts from the dog shit (because dogs are more important than actual Palestinian children apparently)
2. It satiates Dan Cuckcy and will get her in Twitches good graces to have actual security again
3. It will drive all the right wing Timmycels that do this parasocial shit because they can't get girlfriends anyway.
What do you guys think? /sneed
