Hegseth's tie obviously does resemble Russia's flag, not just in the color but also the shape arrangement. And in a highly orchestrated meeting like this, yes, it's an intentional signal. It's not a mistake or a coincidence. It's an information payload designed for Zelensky, and I think the message is pretty obvious and the leftoids aren't wrong about what it is.

But Vance doesn't even engage on that. He pretends it's just about the colors, which, being red white and blue, are American.

My local paid protest is pretty sad. About 10-15 dumpy retirees in a parking lot, slowly milling aimlessly around some parked cars. Getting all soggy in the rain with their pre-made signs.

Hilariously they're right next to Burger King.

I genuinely do not understand what the eternal boomer is even mad about.

They collectively possess about 90% of the wealth and property in the United States.

Our society is incredibly hostile and unfriendly to kids/the youth. Every institution is designed to cater to boomers and ensure that they are as wealthy and comfortable as humanly possible.

What in God's name do they have to be upset about? 2025 America is probably the most geriatric friendly society that's ever existed in human history.

If it does get to that figure, it'll be from private donations. To his credit, no public funds (local, state, or federal) is going towards the cost of construction that I can see.
Not sure if a park that everyone enjoyed in the area had to be destroyed, but such is life.

Cyclists also pay zero of the fees the rest of us do to fund upkeep of the roads and their precious bike lanes (vehicle registration fees, fuel taxes, etc).

On the bright side - at least where I live - cyclist deaths have increased since they got their bike lane. One affluent neighborhood put this stupid bike lane down the street and promptly went from zero cyclist deaths to one in less than a month.
