Would've looked bad to the international press reporting on the event and created even more domestic discontent.

A man with his groceries in hand refusing to get out of the way and succeeding at stopping an armored column in its' tracks is a powerful image. The thing that first world governments fear foremost over rebellion is refusal. If enough people say "no" together interesting shit will happen. Whether or not the new state of things ends up as a new order or bloody chaos can be a coinflip, but the important thing is to understand the power of telling people abusing your good will to fuck off.

ETA: The reason refusal is so much more powerful than denial: refusal is a state that is reached after exhaustively considering the factors involved and deciding that continued participation is not worth it, whereas denial is a state that requires self imposed ignorance about the factors causing things to be so shit.

Guys... the "No Kings" protest is happening tomorrow (Unless something else happened, or I was misinformed). Either it is a "Nothing Ever Happens" scenario and it just plays out like a normal day, or, as some random black guy told me at the gas station, it will lead to another bloody civil war. Place your bets.
It will likely be just like the last "big" protest, a hand full of boomers that can barely hold their signs up and the typical ugly liberals and troons shrieking.

Now that USAID money is gone, these protests have been very weak. The last one even had redditors complaining that no on showed up.

Unless anything has changed, No Kings in particular is being financed by Walmart heiress Christy Walton. She's the widow of one of the founder's sons.

Does this fall under waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer's money?

Pretty insane how openly corrupt the current administration is.
did it fall under waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer's money when california worked out loopholes to give illegals free healthcare?

shut the fuck up you crying nigger.

It it completely says it was a specific party's fault, neat.
it's even better. it's clearly written by one of their gubmint niggers, because they can't even write this in correct English. i guess this is what you get when you have a workforce comprised of 10% sheboons.

explains why it's just a bunch of geriatric whites then. the waltons would never dirty themselves interacting with niggers.

I still don't expect this to be big like previous protests. There might be some busy and popular hot spots, but the day of massive inorganic protests are over. It's even worse now that a lot of people from their own party are sick of them.

At any rate, I do hope the libs do something stupid and continue to lose public support.
