New York state has a lot of historically haunted spots, if I remember correctly. It would probably be really easy for her to go to one for a visit. A quick googling says she's close to the Rolling Hills asylum, plus a bunch of others. It seems a good enough state for the hobby.

Kittens are easier to introduce to adult single cats, usually, but it still takes some time as well.

If Staph had put any forethought into the emotional support cat's needs, she would have considered a two for one with a bonded pair of cats or even adopted one of Siggy's kittens with Siggy.
