Great, now the people can see what they face and how they act against authority. I still laugh how pushing for bodycams was intended to hold police accountable, when 8 times out of 10, it's the usual suspects irrefutably shown being non-compliant.

Fucking lol, they learn slow, don't they?

JB Pritzker Won $1.4 Million Playing Blackjack in Las Vegas

How does a billionaire governor win $1.4 million playing blackjack in Las Vegas?
What a fucktarded opening to an article. What idiot writer wrote this?

"How does a billionaire governor win $1.4 million playing blackjack in Las Vegas?" How the fuck do you think? He (a billionaire who is also governor) traveled to Las Vegas and played fucking blackjack until he decided to quit when $1.4 million ahead. Probably rather higher stakes than most players, likely $10k+ per hand instead of the too-rich-for-my-blood $20 minimums on the tables on the Strip, but still, you play until you get tired of playing (and/or run out of money).

Most blackjack sessions end in a net loss. The rest end in a net win. A rare few end in a very good net win. This was one of those. Casinos smile through gritted teeth cashing out that kind of chip stash (well, "chit" more likely -- they use plastic card chits at $10k+ denominations instead of chips), but the smile is partially genuine because they know shit like this will get attention and lure in more high-rollers and they'll get that money back from somebody eventually.

Of all the phony hit pieces to write against a shitty governor with absurd policies and endless skeletons populating his closet, this is the most weak-sauce retarded things you could ever decide to focus on.

I really try not to go here, but lately it has been so hard not to be 100% convinced of a deus-ex tier deep state.
Homie, the press has openly talked about an active, functioning deep state since mid-2015 as the hopeful mechanism at democrats' disposal to thwart Trump at every turn. And they just "decided" one day that it was perfectly okay to talk about, and acted as if 1) it'd been well-known for decades anyway, 2) it's perfectly normal, and 3) it's somehow moral and ethical to have an unelected shadow government acting behind the scenes to undermine literally everything it disagrees with.

This ain't paranoia or conspiracy theory now. Hasn't been for a decade. It's real as shit and nobody even pretends it isn't anymore.

Side note: the most frustrating thing about most conspiracy theories isn't that they wind up being true, but that literally nobody who acted to keep them secret ever gets punished when exposed, whether it's the people involved directly, or the smug neighbor across the street who insists Obama didn't spy on Trump, etc. You never do get that "rub it in his face" moment because they forget they said it, pretend it never happened, etc.

"In the begging god created the universe, this has been widely considered a bad move by everyone"
Nigger if you're going to quote St. Adams, god rest his soul, get it right :story:

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

I've said this before, but I live in the rural south and EVERYONE over the age of fifty has tales of picking crops when they were teenagers during the summer, or doing it as a pretty well paying side job during collage. Then the immigrants showed up and that entire class of work was wiped out for American teenagers and was replaced by service jobs.

BTW whether you use tobacco or not, the smell of a smokehouse while they are curing the tobacco is literally heaven.
Yep. That's what I said earlier, put the high schoolers back out there. We need to make that job a career that people can live off of really, the reason the farmers prefer the spics over the teenagers is because the teenagers arent a guarantee that they'll come back, plus the spics can work year-round doing other shit around the farm. I just picked up seed from a place earlier today and when I walked in they had nothing but spics sitting at the worker tables.
They also like getting away with paying them scraps.

Getting it done before the midterms would look like this:
  • ASAP, Republican controlled states who want to redraw in case of a favorable ruling draw the maps they they would want to implement
  • Those states then pass legislation that triggers automatically in the event of SCOTUS ruling the correct way (Roe ruling precedent, among others)
  • SCOTUS rules in June/July
  • The new maps are instantly in place prior to the election
Will there be screaming and lawsuits? Probably, but pretty sure the GOP Legislatures/Governors will come out on top of those. I've seen number of conservative lawfare types start advocating for this approach in the last week or so.
I'm sorry but that's just a fever dream. Some states have primaries before the SC will even issue their decision. It's just not happening for the midterms. Even if a district is known to be illegal they'll still hold the election if there isn't enough time. It's happened before.

$1.4 million to a billionaire is probably chump change to them.
Wait, did she just basically say that black districts should unfairly have more voting representation because white voters would not vote their way? It's basically "positive discrimination" from their logic to give a race an edge.

I see nothing wrong with this. It's federal, so FOIA should be easy lol.
I have no idea how the court can order DHS agents to do certain things. There is no jurisdiction, as far as I'm aware, to enter affirmative injunctive relief in this fashion and for the purpose of...what? They can order injunctive relief under the All Writs Act to enforce other orders over which they have jurisdiction, but as presented in these articles it makes no sense. Unless there's something going on that journoshits aren't properly reporting, this is straight up a violation of the court's jurisdiction and separation of powers. It would be reductive to call it judicial activism, because this is just seizing another branch of government.

I am at work and couldn't double check it and I am willing to bet that at least one version is differently worded anyways.
All good, fellow Adams enjoyer :story:

An even more obnoxious wrinkle -- guess who gets to decide the answers to these very good questions you raise? The fucking court. Often the very same one. It's literally "this court has jurisdiction because it says it does."

Trump and Bondi did irritate me talking about '20k illegal guns' taken off streets.
What actually happens to these guns? Are they just destroyed? Can they be resold? Do they "disappear" because a corrupt cop resold them himself? Do we just send them to whatever insurgency we're currently propping up in South America or the Middle East?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHH
thanks for opening the door on this in your race to "pwn trump" you retarded ass goblins.

Do Obama next.

“Yeah let me just store intel about nukes in my home office. What could possibly go wrong?”
If you're a spy, just get a job as a house cleaner in Martha's Vineyard. I have to assume that every official, past or present, is hoarding state secrets.
Ok. So let me break this down to you.
As someone who has DEFINITELY NOT HANDLED ANY SORT OF CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS IN ANY WAY
Documents will always be classed well above their actual import. Everyone knows this. This why leak cases are always reviewed, and a lot of times you get a "Very Naughty" ruling that can fuck with on renewals or upgrades, but in general you are sent on your way after a pinky promise to not do it again and get caught.

The Bullshit that Biden rail-roaded Trump 45 on was utter horseshit. Anyone with any access knows it. You get to a certain level and everyone wants stuff for their books or just for memories. Actions you were a part of and want to review or want to be able to follow up on. It was illegal, but everyone did it because the documents weren't actually dangerous and often the needed bullshit paperwork was done.

Usually having some feds come and grab your bankers boxes often didn't even result in your clearance gettign revoked.
Which is complete fucking bullshit because anyone rank-and-file who did half the shit the shit these people did would have been fired, clearance revoked forever, and blackballed from federal service.
This is why I am still absolutely buttmad-at-the-internet about Hilary's email server to this day. I can appreciate her connections keeping her out of prison, but bitch didn't even lose her clearance.

Before they lost their shit about Trump, this was the sort thing that would have never seen a grand jury. Documents would be collected, you'd get a "very naughty" note in your file, and if you took it to a judge to try to get chages, unless you had very clear harmful motive they'd just say "there's no precident for this thing" or "I don't think you'd get a conviction/its clearly a misunderstanding, settle it out of court".
But Biden's DOJ judged shoppped until they found a deranged Obama appointee who wanted to #Resist and legislate from the bench, and now any incoming administration can point to case law "Well, they charged a former president, the top executive, despite no harmful motive found to his having the documents" and now every bureaucrat who has ever worked with classified information is fucked forever.

"If you do something approaching actually useful work for the government, you will continue to be paid"

lol
get absolutely fucked.
I CLOSE UP YOUR MILKSHAKE
"Oh no Br'ar Schumer, don't toss me in that there briar patch!"

I don't know man, tobacco is still picked by hand, same for a good amount of crops, and guess what the spics do. If the South had won and expanded West like it wanted to California would actually be a huge slave state because a shitload of their crops are picked by hand to this day. They have a fuck-ton of spics doing it right now as I type this, I guarantee it.
Most slaves were needed for about 2 weeks a year for picking season, maybe a bit for planting. The challenge for slave owners was how to warehouse those people at the cheapest per-unit cost for the other 50 weeks.

If the civil war had never happened and Slavery was still legal, there would have been one last hurrah of slavery, to build the railroads, and then after that...
The cost of a train ticket for a migrant worker was cheaper than trying to keep a slave fed, housed, clothed, and healthy for 50 weeks out of the year.

I'm not going to say it would be a self-solving problem because you always have that special breed of asshole where absolute control over his fellow man would be well worth the economic inefficiency, but by 1900 it would have just been a few holdouts as mechanization would have taken over.

shipping companies get taxed, they pass the cost on to their customers, meaning all imports and exports now cost more for every country. and china imports and exports more than anyone else.
Who enforces the taxes on the shipping companies? Could countries have agreements with shipping companies to waive the tax?

I hope this gets streamed like COPS

Like drugs confiscated, they're supposed to destroyed, melted down or burned up. IRL we know the LEO's get their picks and party with them and nothing is said about it again.

I don't think the CIA/dark stuff would want most of the used guns, so some the cheap junk is destroyed as show, most goes into cops houses and their pals.

I won't be the one to jump down it but the world of what happens to items involved with civil forfeiture seems like quite the rabbit hole.
